It's really strange how anyone could think this rabble could be any danger to Finland or Sweden. Even stranger that they needed to join Nato to protect themselves from this clown car of an army.?
Nuclear weapons and a bonkers president might have some to do with it.It's really strange how anyone could think this rabble could be any danger to Finland or Sweden. Even stranger that they needed to join Nato to protect themselves from this clown car of an army.?

Looks like they’re getting lobbed straight into the mixer. They haven't even finished issuing recruitment papers yet mate, so I seriously doubt they are, also it doesn't tally with the reports that the east of the country is where the majority are coming from either. The pure logistics of that just seem absurdly unlikely.
In terms if what I've seen - one person I know was issued papers, reported, but has already been sent home due to an existing medical condition. Everyone else I've heard through second hand sources (friends of friends/students etc) that's recieved papers so far at least have all been former contracted military, rather than the reservist guys who'd just done military national service. Caveat is that it's only a sample pool of 6 people.
I think any rational leader takes any war of aggression on/near their borders very seriously indeed. The Finns may have conscription so that they can acclimatize everyone to the military in the event of war, but they also have only slightly over 20,000 troops under arms. This means that they get rolled like Crimea at the outset if there is a surprise attack, even by "rabble", in the absence of external help.He has planes, nukes, hypersonic, huge navy,Wagner etc etc
These dues are merely cannon fodder (as well you know).
The families and friends of the 5,916 Ukrainian civilians, including 379 children murdered by the Russian invaders might see them as a threat, as would the survivors of rapes, beatings, torture and looting.Nuclear weapons and a bonkers president might have some to do with it.

Rational is lost on this dude, unfortunatelyI think any rational leader takes any war of aggression on/near their borders very seriously indeed. It's easy to forget that Ukraine increased the size of its military by quite a bit and gave them a sizable training budget after 2014. This is why they did not get blasted off the map this time.
Tallies with a lot of OSINT sources who put the figure at 1million.Grim if that's the case.
Said yesterday I don't know how big the call up is, but I'll be utterly shocked if it's just 300k. I bekieve it's much much bigger than that.
Day after the papers where issued, 8 busses left my town, each bus holds 47 so near enough 400 people, town population is 100k give or take - know personally of one father and son both being issued papers.
And that's from the Moscow region also.
Just simple math and probability suggests for me this could be closer to 1m
Why what’s happened? What's the benefit (and to who) of sabotage to Nord Stream 1?
Why what’s happened?
Wow - those cables are all buried in trenches along the sea-bed to avoid any issues with trawling/dredging. Deffo smacks of sabotage, (energy terrorism).Three simultaneous "failures"
