It was just in reply to a halfwit who suggested that Iraq invaded Saudi Arabia and that the Iraqis now have full control of their oil sales. And also to point out both are illegal invasions of sovereign states. But then on this thread the levels of hypocrisy are through the roof.
Love being a halfwit. I hope it boosts your ego. It was Kuwait with Saudi Arabia under constant pressure from extremist fringe elements funding by the Iraqi oil machine.

He seems to think that if he continues to highlight historic US/UK (Irish included)/NATO actions it somehow makes current RU actions in UKR less of a thing.
I have told him a number of times that NO ONE on here thinks the west are without blame for their historic actions and it has nothing to do with todays murder in Ukraine by Putins boys.
He is like an angry stuck record
Halfwit troll.

They both decided way before recent events. Based on history with a toxic dictator of Empire building most of the free world wants nothing what old Putin has on offer. Most of the think tanks agree this has been the most inept command and control army since Iraq being a vaunted fifth best. The main issue is the total loss of life on both sides. Young Russian’s have been slaughtered for no reason because of madness.
True the killing of young men and women on both sides is a tragedy. All the more strange that the US and EU appear to want to fuel the fire. US military strategists seem to be of one mind that this will end in a stalemate leading to more and more bloodshed. A modern tragedy which could very well lead to a nuclear accident that will cause untold casualties going forward.

You really need to look up the background that led to the deaths of what is estimated at between 250,000 and 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians,at the hands of Nato/US looking for weapons of mass destruction that never existed. The history is all there, why after freeing Kuwait the US left Hussain in power. Makes interesting reading.

Yes, you are completely right. Macron has been constantly in touch with Putin worried about miscalculated ordinance hitting the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant perhaps the largest in Europe causing a meltdown which would effect both Europe and Russia depending which way the wind blows.
Tactical Nuclear war is on the table as RT commentators are pushing Putin forward after stumbling in their Special Operation after credible reports have stated the going hasn't been positive as anticipated.

The idea that it's Russia that is shelling its own troops in Zaporizhia is strange in the extreme think even the UN experts on site have debunked that one. And the danger has nothing to do with ordinance. It's the lack of power to keep the core temperature at a safe level.

Could the same be said for finding American Bio Labs in Ukraine? Have to get my popcorn out for that one one of these days too.

Which would happen with the cheerleaders repeated commentary by RT to knock out the energy grid of Ukraine wouldn't it? You can't have one without the other.

What a load of bollocks - you truly are stupid and ignorant

A quick check with Wikipedia would counter that thought of 1,000,000 civilians deaths. But who am I to use other peoples references. Iraq in those days were in bed with Mother Russia and frequent attacks in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia provided there demise when Daddy Bush brought power to bear. Funny how many Nations agreed and served I thought it was around 35 or so I may be wrong. Remember the Scud missile the best thing Iraq did was to hit Israel as they developed the Iron Dome.

That’s just it - a quick check

Those deaths were mostly the result of Shia v Sunni militia infighting following the conflicts not at the hands of the alliance and certainly had nothing to do with NATO.

You could argue that the west created the scene for this internal war. I would agree with that.

Leaving Saddum in power was a mis-calculation of high proportions and thus ensued the carnage. I agree the West had their hand in it but so did Russia. Depends which side you were on.
I wonder if Syria will be so bold now. History has a way of repeating itself.
