Sod the supposed ratios you’re referring to, we’re talking unnecessary loss of civilian life in an unjust and unwarranted attack upon a sovereign nation by an aggressor.

The post from @Spadge Vernacular with the reports from Amnesty etc completely debunk your reference document.

The Russians have clearly targeted civilians with the intention of demoralising the Ukrainian people. Instead it has hardened their resolve to withstand, regroup and counter attack.

What’s the ratio of Russian towns attacked, where women rhave been raped and non-combatant murdered, compared to Ukranian towns?

Or the ratio of illegal wars that Ukraine has instigated compared to Russia?

The tone of so many of your posts comes across as pro-Putin/pro-Russian - now this may be partly due to your personal family connections - and as such appears a weak attempt to justify Russian aggression upon a sovereign nation who are rightly defending themselves.

And in my opinion, you argument over casualty ratios is a deflection against the clear fact that Russia has and probably will continue to target civilians.

Never once stated I thought Crimea being part of Russia was wrong mate, last few days I've stated why it's seen as Russian and the inhabitants of Crimea did tend to agree.

Do I believe Donetsk and Lugansk should be Russian - nope.

Do I think as per the Minsk agreement they should be a autonomous part of Ukraine with self Government - yup

Listing what provoked an action isn't justifying it mate. It's explaining why it happened and how it could have all. been avoided.

Pro Putin - only answer that can be honest is to seperate pre 2022 and post.

In terms of policies for Russia - the state of Russia when he took over to what it became then he was very very good for Russia as a whole.

This entire thing now, no, it's one where there can be no winner at least in terms of the normal people's lives in Russia, Ukraine and the rest if the world. In short it's a utter f'ing disaster for pretty much everyone all round - especially so in spades for the average Ukranian who just wanted to life a normal life rather than be a chesspiece in a much bigger game (sounds a horrible thing to say that last part but yanno what I mean)

Everyone can answer a question with a question mate,it's the easiest thing in the world to avoid things you can't answer. So I won't

Not arguing with a single point you're making there, it's happened obviously. Think the ratio on the last point is about 0:4 or 5
