Now explain to me why the ratio in Ukraine is so low, especially considering the vast majority of engagements have been in urban areas.

Please do explain mate, I'm interested to be hear the reasons why.

Hun was a derogatory nickname used by the British during WW1 to describe the German Army.

Orcs is a term being primarily used by those in Ukraine to describe the Russian invafers. No difference.

You can do your deflecting moves again if you like, pointing to Palestine et al but as I say, for the lads from Ukraine posting on here who are the ones using the term it is absolutely in the same context as we Brits used against German aggressors.

No one is calling your wife or kids anything, unless they are part of the Russian invading army. If Russian troops don't want people calling them out then should fook off home and stop raping and mudering people.

As much as you might hate facing up to the truth, the fact is that the Russians are the ones in another country committing atrocities.

Because like Bazra was mate it was a running battle for large parys within an urban environment - once the Ukranians withdrew to the confines of the metal plants did the Russians focus all their attention in that area.

Now care to answer my question asked prior to the one I've just responded too?

What are civilian casualty ratios lower in this conflict?

Is that the amnesty report which also illustrated that the Ukranians had been positioning military units by choice alongside civilian infrastructures and areas that constitutes a war crime in itself mate?

I've read the full published report - have you or you just skim the parts you wished to see?

If the Ukraine counter attack has been as successful as it's being reported, a very good likelihood it'll lead to a gloves off approach in response.

The massive media attention on this is comparison to other conflicts in recent or semi recent times AND unusually from the perspective of the invaded (very few are as it's traditionally the US/ West coalition doing so) has given the narrative of it being one where civilian casualties have been high (Data on casualties and % of those being civilians suggests strongly the opposite - the ratio of civilian to military deaths is actually very low compared to most conflicts in the past 50 years)

A change in approach on the Russian side where it becomes carte blanche could see this become absolutely horrendous in the coming weeks/months.

They flattened a whole city in order to drive a small force into the metal plants and you consider that justification ??

Sod the supposed ratios you’re referring to, we’re talking unnecessary loss of civilian life in an unjust and unwarranted attack upon a sovereign nation by an aggressor.

The post from @Spadge Vernacular with the reports from Amnesty etc completely debunk your reference document.

The Russians have clearly targeted civilians with the intention of demoralising the Ukrainian people. Instead it has hardened their resolve to withstand, regroup and counter attack.
