Think you're taking my post out of context,I was suggesting our very own keyboard warrior shared his views with a member of either or both units mentioned. I made no comments as to their character.

I've a nephew who's an ex Marine, he would happily discuss war and it's effects on civilians with anyone. He's a very active member of Veterans for Peace on social media. I was more questioning the forum member mentioned who has a very mixed up view on those who "deserve to die".

Now it is, but military planning isn't about the here and now. In an efficient military, plans should be drawn up a minimum of the next decade and beyond.

Military long term planning doesn't take into account civilian casualties or collateral damage as it's now know. In saying that there are studies that calculate the acceptable deaths in a nuclear conflict,but that's a different scenario. Both Putin and the US/Nato make plans on paper that could potentially disrupt and end innocent human lives and we are brainwashed by the media into seeing it as normal behaviour...oh and before the usual suspects chime in that applies to the people of Russia, China,India,Iran...please add the dictatorship of your choice.

I assume you mean me! Tell me, should the Russian invaders be left to it then? We just let them wreak havoc from town to town until they rape and pillage as far as Kiev?? Because that is the alternative to stopping them dead.
