2025/26 Tyrique George

Nope. Decent means okay, and is only just above ‘doing a job’. To be good, especially as a winger, you have to score goals and stuff.

We seem to like players who “can do a job” or “not as bad as some are saying “. Been a go to response for at least two decades. Some would probably want us to keep Brett Angel because “he works hard”

I really don’t understand why people want us to spend such a chunk of our budget on a player we have no idea is good enough. He started ONE game.
He spent nearly four months at the club, the coaches will have seen him train and play every day.

I think they will know more about him than any other player they may have an interest in this summer.

I just noticed George is only a year older than Harrison Armstrong, still a very young player who can improve a huge amount.

He didn’t get anywhere near enough of a chance off Moyes, not even close, even when we weren’t winning games. As fans, we didn’t see enough, I don’t understand how fans are insistent they want us to spend what is going to be a huge chunk of our budget (unless we sell someone for big money) on a player we have only seen start once.

Because, thankfully, it isn't the fans that are in charge of transfers.

With a player as young as George you are looking at the player they may become rather than the player they are.

Understand what you mean esp with the manager playing rohl ect outwide instead of george\Dibling. I think is worth the risk and hopefully can see more from him with a more attacking fb and ofc moyes needs to use both players more

Because he is exciting, he gets your bum off your seat, he's positive, he's direct, he plays with freedom, and a bright smile on his face.

Who doesn't want those ingredients at our club ?

As if our coaches are a reference if they have Keane at CB instead of OBrien.
