2025/26 Tyler Dibling

I thought he done well against Forest away and was ok against Burnley away as well.

But Sunderland at home, that simply wasnt acceptable so no surprise he wasn't given minutes in the next couple of games. But here we are 3 months later and I dont think he's come on for a minute has he?
Forest away he played well.

I thought him/Patterson would get terrorised.

Kids that age are wildly inconsistent.

But they've had no chance to improve and start next season essentially back at square one. No experience of pace/intensity of PL this season to build on.

We don’t know what happens in training.
I believe the manager has all the players kneeling around a statue of Tomas Soucek while chanting “it’s a physical league and it’s only for the experienced, keep it tight and try to nick one”, while he makes them take a bite out of a Tunnocks teacake.

We definitely know they don’t bother doing any set piece work…

Fixed that for you Bud

Like Rohl did against Villa? Or Aznou against Sunderland? Playing well didn’t do them any favours, straight back on the bench/ ostracised.

On what basis can you say we would probably have a "handful more points" ? We may easily have had a few less points. I'm fairly confident if lads were tearing it up in training they'd be straight in.

Watching how weve lined up this season, Moyes picks his 11 before the 1st match and sticks with it all season.

Look at Alcaraz last season. Goal, assist or motm and hes either dropped or thrown onto the wing in favour of Doucoure.

Moyes is not picking on merit.

Nonsense.

It’s a Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer.

Its about alignment in recuritment for me mate and i think the the below happened.

1) The administration bought Dibling as part of an overall transfer strategy of buy young, improve them and manage them as assets.

2) The manager signed of on the signing as part of an over all transfer strategy by the club, but was way down his list and sees him as a work in progress or not PL ready.
Yep, the lad isn't PREMIER LEAGUE ready after playing ~30 matches last season in *checks notes* the Premier League.

Let's put it this way. Let's say Rohl just crushed training, just awesome the whole week. Do you really think Moyes is going to drop Gana? Do you think there hasn't been ANY week where Aznou or George or Dibling or Rohl have been better than the people in front of them?

If the logic of "show it in training" doesn't actually change anything, what's the point of training?

I think with prize money at stake the owners will have some input. Think it's fairly clear Moyes had little to nothing to do with signing Dibling or Aznou
That's contrary to every report that said Moyes had to sign off on all signings. Either he's crap at handling youngsters, crap with a squad (he def is), a bad judge of talent or simply unable to coach these players. Most of it is really damning honestly.

We don’t know what the options were. The club certainly missed out on first choices. That said, it will be much more attractive in the summer after a season of good consolidation. Going into this season we were an absolute mess.
