Guess who’s responsible for last season’s surprisingly decent haul?
I would have gotten more points from those players than Dyche did ,they were much better and Moyes showed that but he has topped out and we are going backwards now .I watched the highlights of Man U vs Brentford this morning and the way they play where the team comes out from the back and doesn't stop at the line of the penalty box is so much more exciting to watch .
Why does he coach that ? Why does he tell Pickford to hoof the ball forward to see it come straight back at us with them in possession ? Why does he have us playing across the back until we lose it ? Why does he have us on their goal line for corners mauling their players ? Why can't he try to win a game instead of hoping ?
This is Everton ,"nil satis nisi optimum "not a pub team .

I don't understand your blinkered view ,all and everything gets blamed but not Moyes .The most limited of managers we may ever have had tactically .
You have a short memory. Dyche and Fat Sam were miles worse tactically.
I totally understand the argument that Moyes lacks imagination tactically and the frustration that Moyes isn't developing young players but let's not rewrite history.

I honestly have no idea what Moyes' tactics are. With Dyche and Allardyce, as bad as they are they have an identity, with Moyes I don't know what it is we're trying to do.

Just been watching his highlights (I know YouTube can make anyone look good) against prem teams only.

He definitely has something and if we can get the same player it would massively help with Ndiaye on the other wing.

Really hoping he gets to play in the close of the season to get him confident.

Should have let him stay on loan with Southampton for this season if Moyes won't play him.

He’s what I describe as a comfort blanket player mate, all effort but with limits, solid 6/7 most weeks, holds the shape, tracks back. Unexciting.
So not a young player you'd go blow 40m on. It's not his fault clearly, but why Everton were so keen on him is a mystery. Even watching him for 1 game for Southampton was enough to see he just isn't dynamic enough and didn't warrant the relatively huge fee.

I think all these players come into the team next year mate - I think next season is going to be the huge transition.
