2025/26 Tyler Dibling

“Hey teacher, leave them kids alone”

It’s not his fault we paid so much for potential.
If we paid 15 million for him no one would bat an eyelid.
He has some promise I think, keeps hold of the ball well. A bit of confidence and he will be smashing it.
Had a glorious chance of getting a goal against Leeds but was caught in two minds.
Once he gets a goal he will take off.
I think you're about spot on with that valuation.

The kid has done nothing of note so far in the game , he has promise but he's a bit of a punt.

Anyone writing him off right now needs their heads testing a bit.

He needs time, and more importantly game time, he needs a run of 10 plus games in a row good or bad to develop and get used to what the managers actually wants.

Our manager certainly doesn't help, as much as certain people in here try to say otherwise he is not good for young players of tylers age.

Dibling has so, so much talent but we need to nurture it.

I'm not disagreeing with you that we need to play quicker but my argument is its immaterial as the main issue looking as the disparity between our home and away record is Moyes cautious tactics which work well away from home but don't work well at home. So adding pace is pointless whilst Moyes has this mentality
I don't think any of our poor results at home have been a result of caution. They mainly stem from the fact that because of Branthewaite being out our team is generally better playing deeper than with a high line which means we play better away from home. I would expect our home performances to improve a lot now Branthewaite is back because it is much easier to sustain attacks, win the ball back and apply pressure if your centre half are playing nearer the halfway and always pushing up. The results are just a function of who we have had available.
