2025/26 Tyler Dibling

“Hey teacher, leave them kids alone”

It’s not his fault we paid so much for potential.
If we paid 15 million for him no one would bat an eyelid.
He has some promise I think, keeps hold of the ball well. A bit of confidence and he will be smashing it.
Had a glorious chance of getting a goal against Leeds but was caught in two minds.
Once he gets a goal he will take off.
It's the transfer fee that is causing the problem - £40m should buy us a regular starter.

…one excuse is Moyes doesn’t play him because he’s 19, yet he plays 19yo Harrison Armstrong out of position ahead of him today. Also, strong links with another 19yo winger today.
Moyes has shown remarkable faith in Armstrong, especially today shoe horning him in ahead of two actual wingers and Patterson. It really does prove out that it’s not age or premier league experience (Dibling has more!) that is stopping Moyes playing him.

Yes we should only spend up to 35 million like we did for elite footballer Alex iwobi
I don't know if anyone really pays attention to Iwobi but since we sold him (correctly given the price and our inability to ever figure him out as a player) he's had a season with 9 goals and 6 assists and now has transitioned into being a quite good central midfield player. I mean genuinely Dibling turning into Iwobi would be an enormous win for the club given what we've seen so far.

Dont think many questioned his ability , it was his application the stunk.

Roughly the same as Richy , maybe we shouldnt have paid that 🤔

Remember Merson fuming we Broke the transfer window.
Yes, we seriously should not have. Lille bought Rafael Leao for half the price that same window. Matheus Cunha- 15m. Diogo Jota- 14m. It is never going to be winning recruitment for us to pay over the odds for players that have already played in the PL. The ones worth those prices aren't going to end up at Everton. You aren't finding anyone that City or United or the RS or Chelsea haven't passed on already.

2 totally different players,
2 totally different maturity levels.

Armstrong kicks on from the whistle, the lad is bundle of energy, shouts his mouth around, got the bite, And plays in a forever flowing position.
Also just had half a season of playing.
Local lad, and grown up through the club.

You cant compare these 2 players just because of a birth certificate..

He's playing for Fulham, and with all due respect to them, they're a nothing club. He struggled with the expectations and demands of the Goodison crowd.
