Would that person have influenced his first game at home against lower league opposition?Hmmmmm, what or whom could be a key factor in this reticence on the ball this season?

Got problems with his “character” and is “homesick” as well apparently…Dibling hasn't set his price for himself. Calling him a "massive disappointment" is a bit much thus far Eggs. Bit of patience in a nothing season might not go astray.
Big fan of the lad and this signing. Think he will be fine.
We cant afford not to be competing for lads like Tyler to be honest, even if they are for a year or two time.
tbf mate we weren't competing with anyone for him. Just us.
Why is that a scenario you've decided to make up?It doesn't change the fact that if a non Everton supporter watched replays of the games he's played and was asked to pick out the player who cost north of 30 million I'd wager he'd be one of the last picks.
Its just Eggs projecting. Couldn't cope with the idea of professional footy so packed it in for a desk job.Got problems with his “character” and is “homesick” as well apparently…
I think its getting in there and investing in them over a 3-4 year period, that an industry we haven't been part of in long, long time - so much so people just assumer Tyler is a waste of money.
Many clubs invest not just for right now, but over 3-4 period. Spurs have done it with the like of Gray and Bergval. Villa did it with Rogers, Scott at Bournemouth, Brighton with everyone and Brentford with quite a few also.
When i look at our squad, i think that's what we are trying to do as a strategy - i dont believe Dibling was bought for this season - do i see a role sure, but i dont think he bought with the intention of being relied on, i think he brought in for the medium long term.
The make up of the squad is essentially purposely 50/50 after the summer - there is half it approx from 24 -19. Them 50% approx 25-33. Thats not accident.
In the 24-19 squad, the youngest are Armstrong, Dibling and Aznou - i dont expect much from them, Dibling is treated differently because of the fee, but hes really at the same developmental phase as Armstrong and Aznou - they are all a group for the next 2-4 years IMO.
That in my opinion why we invested in him and the strategy behind it. I think as a club we need to be doing that also.

He needs some under 21/23 games to boost his confidence ....
Think it fits. He looks nothing like the player you'd pay 35 million plus for. To be totally honest he looks like an U21 who's been called into a threadbare squad who looks totally out of his depth. Not the lads fault we massively overpaid for him.Why is that a scenario you've decided to make up?
People havent been bemoaning spending the majority of our budget on players in this category though have they. That’s the frustration. 5-15 million on players of this category, might come good, might not. These are the type of signings we’ve been bemoaning not making for years.
We can’t now start throwing the toys out the pram when the kid isn’t doing the business at 19 years of age.
No young player will ever flourish here until we, the fans, take a good look at ourselves.
Not going after a right back and not going after a winger with pace and directness is exactly the type of signing we should be bemoaning. This isn't indicative of his quality or potential. There are plenty of reasons to hate these signings. These are the type of signings we’ve been bemoaning not making for years.

He played 33 games in the PL last year.Looks like he doesn't want to be on the pitch at all.
His confidence is in the bin could have done with a year of solid football in the championship where the demands on him wouldn't be as high
