2025/26 Tyler Dibling

….i don’t think it means a lot what Ndiaye and Grealish were doing at 19, neither had moved for £40m at that age. Rooney moved to United, made an immediate impact and was soon winning league titles and European Cups.

Dibling has time on his side but he’s understandably in the spotlight because of his move.
Dibling hasn't set his price for himself. Calling him a "massive disappointment" is a bit much thus far Eggs. Bit of patience in a nothing season might not go astray.

He looks different than he did with saints. Last season he was a bit of a maverick with the ball. Much more dribbling and driving things forward. Now he looks timid and a bit disconnected from the rest of the team. Not sure if it’s confidence or something else but he is not the same player at the moment.

Hmmmmm, what or whom could be a key factor in this reticence on the ball this season?

It doesn't change the fact that if a non Everton supporter watched replays of the games he's played and was asked to pick out the player who cost north of 30 million I'd wager he'd be one of the last picks.
