TV Series

It gets progressively better.

With each series, you come to identify more and more with the characters and their various roles and sub plots within the series.
With it becoming a global hit, they throw more money at it, which means better sets, better CGI and better battle scenes.
There`s not one single actor in the whole series, who is miscast and if anything the introduction of new characters in each new series, without killing old ones off, just strengthens the series, rather than doing the opposite.

If I`m going to be hyper critical, the final series is the weakest, but that`s only because they had to find a way to wrap it up.

People who slag it off, either have never watched it or have no imagination, it`s as simple as that.
Just finished season 2. Just as good. Steve's my favourite but @Nymzee is right about Billy being an absolute dream boat 😍

My only critique is that they could have had a better soundtrack for a series that was based in the 80’s.
That one Kate Bush song that play over and over, starts to get annoying after a while.

I know I'm 10 years late, but finally watched Stranger Things Season 1. Brilliant isn't it. However I've heard it gets progressively worse from here from a friend, is this true? Worth keeping watching?
Practically the only tv show I have ever watched religiously and you’ll absolutely love it. Remember these are quite literally kids, growing up into superstars.

It's all the 80s references, I adore them as much as the characters. So many things out of movies like Aliens, Terminator, Exorcist etc. There's so much dirge out there that I don't often watch telly much these days, and I'm glad I bothered to sit my arse down for this one.

The pressure on the writers must’ve been unreal.

Imagine writing a first series, that out of the blue went global amongst all age groups and you’re expected to keep raising the bar with every series that followed 😮

Last Samurai Standing
I adore battle royale type shows/movies, and when they're set in samurai era Japan it just suits me perfectly. Some of the characters having over the top abilities just made it more interesting (loved the archer guy). There's also some anime tropes here in the form of using flashbacks to tell certain characters backstories, which was a nice touch. I'd rate it a solid 7,5/10. Perhaps not a Kurosawa level masterpiece, but very watchable. On Netflix, with season 2 confirmed.

Can't remember if I got to the end of this one.
