I never watch anything dubbed.

I`ve got bad memories of the kung fu series " Monkey " from when I was a kid - one of the older members !

Dont mind the odd dubbed one if its done properly as in Detective Hole.

Its subtitles that are an imediate turn off for me.
Squinting and reading the lines on the bottom of the screen when the story and action unfolds above is something I cant handle .
Wish i could find a version of Gomorah dubbed properly in English.

I tried going to bed with my laptop on its side to read subs.3 Laptops later.....................

What annoys me about it is that it has a really good cast. But there is just no character development. They all make the same mistakes over and over again and basically never get any comeuppance (with one exception in series 4). Yas, Harper and Eric do the same things they do from start to finish and they are all so dislikable.

I will get pelters for this no doubt but it was a similar issue I had with Succession towards the end. The same thing happens over and over again in slightly different settings. Both shows have some incredible episodes in the later series no doubt but a lot of it just feels like repetitive filler to get to an end point.

Agree with this. It jumped the shark in season 3 for me. No Rob Spearing in season 4 and it being entirely focused on Yas and her stupid rich job snow husband has completely soured me on the show.

The best but in season 4 is Harper but it takes a back seat to being the Yasmine rich people problems show.

Started 'The Boys' from start again

I was just coming onto ask is The Boys the greatest piece of tv I have watched or the worst? I honestly can't make up my mind and I'm half way through S3

It lost something. Enjoyed the first season then it got progressively worse but I’m not sure what it was. Didnt bother with the last season.

One thing it lost is Queen Maeve. She's important in the comics but some changes were necessary because she was having issues with other actors on set.

The last season was a bit meandering for me and I'm curious how it's going to wrap up because the only thing I expect is it won't be the same ending as the comics.

It can't be anymore, they killed that idea right off.

It's a shame because I really enjoyed it. They could still pull it off without Maeve I think.

Nah, not at all, Black Noir and Butcher are completely ruined chars in the series.

It's fun but I stopped treating it as The Boys a long time ago.

I watched the first season found it ok, not gone back to it. I still struggle with the superhero aspect of it unfortunately
