TV Series

Gave up before the end, great start to a series, far far to much Bonking to keep with the writing..
Season 3 just moved off where it seemed to be headed..
What annoys me about it is that it has a really good cast. But there is just no character development. They all make the same mistakes over and over again and basically never get any comeuppance (with one exception in series 4). Yas, Harper and Eric do the same things they do from start to finish and they are all so dislikable.

I will get pelters for this no doubt but it was a similar issue I had with Succession towards the end. The same thing happens over and over again in slightly different settings. Both shows have some incredible episodes in the later series no doubt but a lot of it just feels like repetitive filler to get to an end point.

I do love Succession, at least with that show it has a witty side to it which holds it..

I agree with you on the same things in different settings in Industry, that's probably why after season 2 it lost me..
The thing is When I have to spend that much time looking away from all the Bonking, it's naturally going to get lost on me.

I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I'm with you on this one, we are probably just a minority though..

I know I'm 10 years late, but finally watched Stranger Things Season 1. Brilliant isn't it. However I've heard it gets progressively worse from here from a friend, is this true? Worth keeping watching?

It gets progressively better.

With each series, you come to identify more and more with the characters and their various roles and sub plots within the series.
With it becoming a global hit, they throw more money at it, which means better sets, better CGI and better battle scenes.
There`s not one single actor in the whole series, who is miscast and if anything the introduction of new characters in each new series, without killing old ones off, just strengthens the series, rather than doing the opposite.

If I`m going to be hyper critical, the final series is the weakest, but that`s only because they had to find a way to wrap it up.

People who slag it off, either have never watched it or have no imagination, it`s as simple as that.
