Oh look.... it's Dave wumming yet another thread.... how original

Do you think he was this critical under the last manager? Nooooooooooo of course he wasn't. It was all sweetness and light, despite us worrying how many points from the bottom we were 2 seasons running.

How about the season long form?

The table doesn't lie. We are where we are and overhauling United is going to be a mammoth task never mind anything more than that, as per the OP.

We'll hit a dip in form again before the season is out, for sure, and then this thread is going to look crazy.

Form is everything you said.

Seemingly it's only 'everything' when the form in question suits your extremely tedious agenda.

It was though Dave, was losing his man, stepping up at the wrong times allowing massive space behind for a decent times run, dropping off to keep people onside at other times. Stoke had obviously worked in training on specifically targetting the lad and it worked, was a good decision at half time to change it around, after which they created absolutely nothing of note really.

Stuff happens, and will be a lesson for the lad which will ultimately improve him as a player.

October/November flattened any realistic aims of troubling the top.
Last night was an excellent point. Not many go there and dominate.
We are still in a massive rebuilding stage but the signs are very good and we have a manager who is not afraid to make the required changes.

I think he can expedite it by buying some creativity immediately. That's why my wish this past transfer window was to use the cash we paid out on another CM we dont really crucially require to bring in Sigurdsson.

More fool him that he didn't.

He can only buy what is available, and if the players he wants (and we dont know who they are) arent available, you would hope that he doesnt just buy fillers. Hes just spent 6 months ridding the club of those kind of players. He has bought players in this window that were available and improve us in a number of areas.

This ^

Stoke got at our back 3 and Holgate had a poor game, so he changed it, and we looked far more secure second half. It was good game management and something that he's not been afraid to do all season. Refreshing to see some actual game management.

He set us up in the same way we've been playing in the previous 5 games, in which we'd won 4 and kept 4 clean sheets.

You chat bubbles lad.
Lol. Your mind is so linear to think my post referred to a change in set up.

He set up, as per, with three CBs to match up Peter Crouch as a loan striker. Arnautovic took Holgate apart arriving late and at speed...which is what he does. The genius didn't anticipate it.

*sigh*

Cant understand why Koeman is a premier league manager and you're sat at home on GOT with tactical awareness like this
