Just think Vaughn was one of the best young talents in the game before he broke down. Not really.

The spacial awareness of a Bergkamp,Sheringham or James?
With the predatory instincts of a Henry, Anelka or dare i say it...Jeffers ?
Just kidding...who?
had that ability to find space and direct or pass the ball into the net. That finish reminded me of him. Logs off..The way things are looking, they may well HAVE to be the answer to our striking problems next season, irrespective of which division we are playing in. We are well and truly Donald Ducked on the financial front.Much as I like both Cannon and Simms as young players who hopefully haven’t reached their full potential yet, I believe it would be hugely optimistic to believe they are the answer to our striking problems next season if we are in the PL. A transfer ban and/ or relegation would change things but both require more development before we can consider them first choice starting strikers.
Loved Vaughan him and Yakubu at the time would have made a brilliant pairing.Just think Vaughn was one of the best young talents in the game before he broke down.
He was, unfortunately, he was far too brave for his own good.Just think Vaughn was one of the best young talents in the game before he broke down.

Name me a yoof player I was wrong on ?
Dowell ?
Dobbin ?
Gordon ?
Kenny ?
Dominic Calvert-Lewin ? (when others were saying he's a top level striker).
Cannon has a long way to go based off what ive seen and 1 goal in the Championship isn't going to convince me he's the next Harry Kane.
We do this all the time with our yoof - build em up with massive expectation to only go and knock em up down when the reality hits that they're not the next Rooney/Gazza.
Nothing wrong with him being a Championship level CF which is most likely the long term reality unless he has some mad launch in his development.
Gordon and Dcl both proven premier league players. Whether or not you rate them is another thing…Name me a yoof player I was wrong on ?

I think you may find that's not the case, Moshiri has realised now that he is not getting anything like his money back out of Everton, he will get nothing back if the stadium is not finished. Any and all money Moshiri can raise will be used to fund the stadium and he will then look to get out with as small a loss as possible. Forget all your fantasy deals with imaginary money over 5 year contracts, the reality is we have lost nearly half a billion in 5 years and still have another quarter of a billion, conservatively, to find for completion of the stadium. No mate...just with FFP.

Forget profit and sustainability, we are skint with or without it.
Nevertheless, we will be looking to reduce the wage bill and make a decent profit on player sales this summer, any incomings will be on significantly less wages than the players they replace and any outgoing transfer fees will be significantly less than incoming transfer fees. We are well past the stage of throwing good money after bad, the club is in serious financial trouble, businesses cannot survive making tens of millions of pounds losses year after year. That would be very stupid from him when investors, stadium revenues and sponsorships would be directly affected by the team performances.
…another goal, fine header.
…and now a 2nd goal, surely would’ve been a better option than Maupay.
