Players like Maupay will look much better if the had somebody playing with them who was able to use the ball to create chances and unsettle defenders. At present we are totally predictable and the signing of Kudus was to help address this problem.
We can sign another striker but if we don't create chances then his influence will also be limited.

I’m curious, did either of you bother to watch the game , perhaps you could comment on his misskicks , quality of the opposition , the fact his younger strike partner Kouyate scored a hat trick. ?

In my opinion, I’d rather see your hat trick boy Kouyate and Cannon start before any of the Turds we have been.

For me, Lewin, maupay, gray and even golden boy frosted tips Gordon are not the answer.

Agree with this we need a playmaker only Iwobi creates ANYTHING, big problem

I often wonder that,the likes of Messi,Ronaldo,Mo Salad,M'Bappe,Levandowski etc,in a fictitious world if we signed one of them,how long would it take us to "Everton" them?????

I agree to a point, I think Kudus would give us someone running through the middle, whereas at the moment we create chances mostly from crossing becasue we have Gray and Gordon in the wide areas but when DCL s out we lack a focal point for the attack.

I think really we need a tall Striker and we need at least 1 of the midfield 3 to be getting in the box when we have the ball in wide areas

And yet, just playing devil's advocate, put him in Brighton's team and he would and, in fact, did score. That's not me saying I rate hm by the way, I think he is very limited, but, create chances for him and he will score a few.

That's the problem though, we've set ourselves up completely dependent on a target man that when Dom's out ( which is a guarantee in recent times )
we are totally lost out there. There is no plan b. It's just 90mins of head scratching.
