There's absolutely nothing wrong with finding Boyle funny, Mikey. Like literally nothing. He's a talented comedian what/whoever the subjects of his jokes are. It's dark humour. It's not laughing at Down's Syndrome, but the wording and the delivery that gets the laughs, not the disease or the sufferer. It's obviously offensive, but some are going ott here. Quote as much Boyle as you like, just not the more edgy stuff, if Brennan's asked you not to. There wasn't anything wrong with the original quote like.

Think I might have watched my last CL game this year, tbh. It bores the life out of me when there's no English teams in it. Obviously Arsenal aren't out yet, but they are as good as. Reckon the Germans will embarrass them tonight.

Bollocks. It's laughing at the delivery of a stereotype about downs syndrome kids, it's laughing at kids with downs syndrome. There's no distinction to be made there. If it wasn't a stereotype in the first place he wouldn't say it, and people wouldn't laugh.

Dark humour's not for everyone but to try and make out that anyone who enjoys it or has enjoyed it at any point is immoral and find DS nothing but a joke and to try and use it to make someone look bad for literally no reason other than a pretty harmless original quote on a completely different issue to the ones you're bringing up, whilst posting in a thread on today's football smacks of internet moral high-ground trolling.

I think PSG/Valencia will end 1-1, seeing PSG go through. Certainly more suspense for that fixture than there is for the Juve/Celtic one.

Hi Nev, tell us something new mate! Thought/hope it was an honest mistake TBH. He seemed pretty even handed before and after I thought. Noisiest I have heard the Utd fans for ages though.
