Tim Howard

Erm, surely by not dropping Howard and sticking by his best goalkeeper even though you claim the majority of fans want him dropped Martinez is showing the exact opposite of "spineless".

He's showing strong leadership I'd say in fact.
No, it is spineless as it is the easy decision. Sticking blindly by his senior players even though they are undeserving of wearing the shirt.

He was terrible that season.

But then you could make a video of him the following season in which he was great.

What, when he punched the ball in his own net at Stamford Bridge or when he ran 45 yards out his goal to meet Sturridge for a cup of tea at Anfield? Or when he was beaten by a Scott Dann header inside the 6 yard box to help kill our chances of 4th?

lol that's proper cracked me up!! haha

I'm not sure how it's spineless mate. Martinez knows that the fans are getting on Howard's back, he himself admitted he was disappointed in him against arsenal... so playing him seems the opposite, surely?

frazer campbell scoring with the back of his head with his eyes closed was more of a highlight than dann's.

Oh yeah that was undoubtedly the more hilarious goal, however I was only referring to the 13/14 season in which everyone seemed to think Howard was amazing because we finished 5th. He wasn't quite as bad as usual that season, but he certainly still wasn't very good

was the same game wasn't it?

Haha no, believe it or not. We had two consecutive 3-2 home defeats to Palace, the Fraizer Campbell goal was the game early on in the 14/15 season, the same game that Howard also came out and clattered James McArthur to concede a penalty

too many mistakes in 3-2 defeats to palace they all blurred together. i remember him making two howlers, that pen is what i got confused with teh dann one.

Right, I get how you feel. But I'm not asking if you think it will happen, I'm asking how you would react if it did. If Howard came out and had four clean sheets on the bounce, would that change your mind?
Nope not for me, he's shown he's on the decline and he's now 36 so it would stil be on my mind the amount of times he's balls'd up and cost us

He simply will never be good enough

The root to that lies firmly at the hands of Tim Howard. The man isnt good enough. He never has been.

Tim is rubbish always as been always will be.Its been said on many occasions on GOT if he was any good the Mancs would never have sold him.

Howard has never been more than average at best

Even the Americans are turning on Howard, never liked him

Just a few examples @Khalekan @Saint Domingo. It's been a theme with a contingent of this fan base since he arrived here.
