Tim Howard

Never mate he's utter pony and he will not string together a run of good games as long as he won't come and claim a ball in his 6 yard box never mind his whole area
Right, I get how you feel. But I'm not asking if you think it will happen, I'm asking how you would react if it did. If Howard came out and had four clean sheets on the bounce, would that change your mind?

I personally don't think there's much in it between Tim and Joel. We need a new number one keeper end of story. Joel is certainly not the answer to our problems, Only last week he flapped at a cross conceding a goal for the U21s in such a way Tim would have never heard the end of it. Yet tonight, he does a bit of shot stopping (the bit the Tim is good at still even now) and people want him in as number one.

Joel, is a keeper, he will have known it was just for one game, he knows he's not first choice. It will have been no surprise to him to hear that Tim will be back in goals on Sunday.
While I agree they both aren't good enough
Though we have only seen a few games for Joel and I think he deserves a run

For me it's just sending out the wrong message to the squad
What if mori has a great 2months does jags come straight back in even though he's nearly 34 and like Howard hasn't got long left at this level IMO

It all highlights a stubbornness from the manger which isn't healthy

Like his stubbornness to persist with 2 defensive midfielder
Especially at home against the week teams who park the bus
Our home record is shocking over the last 12move
I know I'm slightly going of the subject
I thought Martinez was going to great for us but I'm loosing faith by the game and I'm not the only one

Some people baffle me
Are you expecting him to have a fantastic run of performances all of a sudden
I've got news for you he won't

One of my best mates is a Utd season ticket holder
When we signed him 9yrs ago he told me he was bang average
And his main faults 1) doesn't command his box 2) slow across his line causing him to get beat from long range shots
Now at 37 he's getting worse and will keep getting worse
Amazes me people can't see it
They act like the last 3/4 games are just a blip

So Howard the duck is back in goal Sunday witch is laughable same will happen with Barry whoever replaces Barry will not be in the team when he returns.competion for places my arse favourites more like.

I enjoy your postings mate, but my head is absolutely wrecked by the time I get to the end of each post.

I don't understand why he's so bad - he's one of two players on the pitch who gets to use his hands. He should be the one crashing into people.

He'll do well at the weekend. Lost times how many times he is under scrutiny and then pulls out a bit of form to save himself. I expect that sequence to continue. He'll be the hero on Sunday.
Why the hell should our keeper be the hero in a game against Sunderland ! Yes Sunderland! Perhaps you've also lost faith in our manager to produce a decent performance at home against one of the worst sides in the league.
