Wouldn't take my family there for a day mate.

Yes but how your family would live and how Timmy's family would live are two completely different things.

Also, would he perhaps even leave his family be and just go himself? With his wallet he could afford flights to and fro all the time, and it's only a year. Less than that even.

The pinkies hate him and legitimately so. He'll go down as a ledgend, not quite in the Dixie or Bally category but definately a cult hero.

If his leaving took us closer to getting Pienaar back permanently, it'd be a good thing all round.

He's been a great servant, and if he leaves he'll go with my best wishes and always be welcome back. One of my biggest footballing heroes of the last decade.

Might be time, though.

Noble sentiment, like, but it didn't stop either of our families from taking their blood money, did it?

Different generations mate. Wouldnt blame a German kid for his grandfathers actions and same can be said about us.

We now live in a time where we can recognise when things are just wrong, and Saudi Arabia treats his people despicably. Not saying I wouldn't use products from these countries. Im not one of THOSE people.

I guess Im just a hypocrite really.

Still wouldnt take my family anywhere near a hardline Muslim state.

Tim Cahill will be always be remembered fondly by the Goodison faithful. If his final contribution is to help the club secure Pienaar then all the better. I love Timmy but he is near the end of his career and players have left under worse circumstances. He will be missed.

Would be absolutely heart breaking to see him leave. I don't think he has anything more than a season left in him, but still, I hope he stays involved with the club, he is a blue through and through, an amazing role model, and an all round amazing person. I hope he remains involved with the Club for years to come, even if its not on the pitch.

If he leaves, let him. I doubt he'd move his family with him, he'd probably go alone, kind of what Kewell did when he moved to Galatasaray. I wouldn't let him go easily though, Moyes needs to let the arabs know that they're trying to buy a legend and the offer for him better reflect that.

My brain tells me that getting good money for an out of form 32 year old on one of our higher wages is a good move for us, but I'll still be sad to see him leave. In him prime he was everything I want in an Everton player.

He's a legend in my book. If we were to get more than we paid for him, taking into account he's given 8 years of ridiculously good and selfless service, he'll go down as one of the best buys in our history. Unreal value.
