So were going to lose all our players an replance them with .....?? no one!!!

This all day.

I'm all for reducing the wage bill but you can't let players like Cahill go on a free. Even if the fee was only £1-2m, at least it's a lump of cash towards Pienaar's transfer fee.

I doubt we'd get much of a transfer fee if they stumped up anything, I still disbelieve they're willing to give one based on the article to be honest.

In any event, I can't see it, he's got too much going on in the UK with his coaching clinics etc, not to mention his contract I'm positive he will see through.

And it's Timmy FFS. Why can't people offer this sort of cash to Hibbert, Neville and Anichebe? That'd reduce the wage bill AND get rid of some ****e.

If this is true... Course there will be a fee. He's under contract and owned by efc.

It's funny how one person makes a comment about no fee involved and loads more jump on it... Suddenly it's gospel, were letting Cahill leave on a free.... **** board.. Damm u kenwrong! Moyes has lost it!!

The wacky world of Internet forums!! Haha

You're putting words into my mouth, you ought to stop that. I'm quoting the article itself. "course there will be a fee". How you know that by the way? Bizarre.

Gospel that Cahill's leaving on a free? No, just quoting the OP and talking about it. Pull your head in would ya.

What?? The OP makes no mention of a fee. What's so bizzare about making the assumption that a fee will paid for a contracted player?

What's bizzare are your comments of "how are we going to sell him?" and "There's no transfer fee involved in this deal guys, Everton will not benefit from this"

Ridiculous.

He's on around £50k here so it'd be less than £3m off our wage bill in pounds. That does free up a lot and he's no where near worth that these days. If we got a fee of £3m then I'd look into it. Anything less and they can koff.

Can't see him upping sticks for that place though, whatever the money.

I know, that's what I'm saying, there is no mention of a fee. To me that means it would be pretty insignificant if there even was one. That's my opinion based on the jarg story above in any event.

He's not going anywhere anyway mate.

I love Tim, I really do, but if he wants to go there and earn that sort of money then we shouldnt stop him.

There's no transfer fee involved in this deal guys, Everton will not benefit from this, why would we get rid of a player for free of Tim Cahill's stature? Sure he's not the player he was, but he's one of our better players still.

He wouldnt go for free mate, thats for sure. Moyesy will drive an hard bargain and get what ever he can out of these Saudi's!.
