If he takes his family on holiday there and has played there before I'm pretty sure him moving there wouldnt be a problem.

i`m cahills biggest fan, love the bones of the guy but i wouldnt stand in his way. he might not get an opportunity like this again so he has to take it.

My brain tells me that getting good money for an out of form 32 year old on one of our higher wages is a good move for us, but I'll still be sad to see him leave. In him prime he was everything I want in an Everton player.

my thoughts exactly, not the most talented but thrived on hard work determination and a will to win that any aussie seems to be born with. If he were to go, i'd expect a high profile friendly i.e. everton vs aus or something, not for him to leave us with that ridiculous red card his last act

He will go down as a legend and rightly so. Just hope freeing up his wages doesnt make room for that ex kopite and released manc striker.

Thing to remember is Cahill's impact in the changing room. He gets on with everyone and is a key part of our ace team spirit.

He's best buds with Jelavic already.

That is a good point.

He's one of those who 'gets it', and you need those lads to make sure that younger players get it too.

Clubs need people like your Cahills and your Nevilles.

I mean over the Years Cahill has shown immense talent on the pitch and I suppose, Neville, sometimes, but its the work they clearly do behind the scenes.

Worth £50,000 a week or whatever he's on when he's been barely any better than what a young squad player could of been?

Yeah but is Cahill worth his high wage just for being a good influence in the dressing room when he offers next to nothing on the pitch these days in relation to his wages?

Well, I suppose it depends on how you judge his performances the last Season.

I will say hes been nowhere near his best, for long periods of the Season I thought he was terrible mostly, but he works hard in the hole and he looked a little better when he had players to work off, like Pienaar and Jelavic.

Not quite sure why hes EVER played in CM tho, hes actually beyond bad in that postion.

If your asking would I keep him around, if he plays as bad as he did at times last Season? Its a tough question and I would have to slide towards no.

But I personally dont think hes totally finished yet.
