I reckon Timmy earns plenty already from his endorsements in Oz, I hear his face is all over hoardings and TV adverts, his image, presumably, helped by playing in the Premier League. Also, have you seen the price of his bloody watches?

Everton's Tim Cahill considering move as Middle East interest grows

• Cahill reportedly rejected £10.3m contract in Saudi Arabia
• Other clubs in the Middle East and China remain keen

Tim Cahill is considering leaving Everton for a new challenge in the Middle East, having already rejected a multimillion‑pound move to Saudi Arabia.

The Australia international, who will be 33 in December, has reportedly turned down a £10.3m three-year deal from an unnamed club in the oil-rich nation, but is attracting interest from other clubs in the region as well as China.

Cahill has two years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park and is happy at the club he joined in 2004, but he would consider a move overseas.

Everton, who are keen to re-sign Steven Pienaar from Tottenham Hotspur, are likely to be keen to cash in on Cahill should they receive a good offer.

The midfielder is on international duty with Australia in Oman as they begin their final phase of qualifying for the World Cup.

Cahill is one of Everton's longest serving players, making 278 appearances and scoring 68 goals.

Tim Cahill stood for the everton motto Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. He gives his all game in game out and understood the mentality of the fans in being blue and bought in to it, for me never thought anyone could get near dunc and my favourite everton player, but he passes him. My all time favourite everton player, and should go down as a everton legend and one of our greats... Whatever the future holds for Tim Iroegbunam have nothing but respect, pride and praise for our tiny tim and I will never say a bad word against him.

No wonder he's not been as good these last few years...

I knew those trips away with the socceroos was too much.

Doesnt sound like he has a move on his mind:

"The thing is if you want to play all games, but you are going to burn out.'
'The main thing is that football is evolving and it is all about squads and conditioning. I think in Australia, if they don't see a player, they think that he has been dropped or has been poor.''I think that is just poor media skills sometimes.''I am definitely not bothered that I am being part of a rotation.'

I BELIEVE TIM!

I think he's earned the right to decide what he wants to do next but, knowing him, I doubt he'd ever want to be a liability to the club. If Tim Cahill thought moving on for a fee was the best he could do for Everton FC, he'd do it. If he believes he's up to playing out his contract, he should be allowed to.
How we treat our "favourite Sons" at the end of their careers will have a lasting impact on the younger players in the squad, and how this club is perceived around the football world.

Does he owe us anything really, what did we get him for 2.5mill.

TBH his performances improved massively in the back end of the season as well, he was as gash as anyone else for part of the season.

Maybe im in denial but im not writing him of.

I BELIEVE TIM!

I'll tell you what's ironic, Cahill isn't a guaranteed starting player in the national squad anymore, yet he accepts it and expected it. And this is against teams who are ranked under over 50! Yet Moyes still loves starting him every game.

That's just sad.

Half me thinks Timmy should take the money and run and the other half feels terrible for thinking that!

Always a blue legend no matter what!

What do you mean teams ranked under over 50?
