Thats inexcusable. For this sort of money I'd expect someone of Fellaini / Baines / Jelavic quality.

He also has a cool name....I do like Landon and have enjoyed todays banter as its crazy weather here....so good to pass the time.

However, if Donovan was as keen as some believe and wanted a final crack + would be lower than 50k a week i'd take him on a 2 year contract on a free.

I don't care if they're American, Brazilian or Martian, I can't advocate spending millions on players with 0 resale value, unless they can single handedly turn us into a top 4 team. Which Donovan and Dempsey can't do, in my opinion. I'm not even sure if Messi could like so that's no slight on them.

We very rarely have money so when we do we have to spend it wisely. We don't have an endless supply of Jack Rodwells to flog.

I can't disagree with that mate,,, but this term 'WORLD CLASS ' gets chucked around too easily..... Mesii= world class , Ronaldo = worls class............. Donovan= decent player .
