Green might have been 15, but if he makes it, he will cost us around 2m.
None of the players have made ANY impact, sure some of them look like decent players, but none of them will stop us having to sell Fellaini in 12months time.
Not near as much as you might think and certainly well within our budget.
Plus, he'll contribute now instead of waiting for the next Rooney or Rodwell to come through the ranks and there is no guarantee that will happen.
Like I said, the manager will go with proven players, not youngsters.
He cost a fair bit of coin, even if it's four years before we'll see any pay off.
Why not, i'd guess we could sign both with the rodwell cash.
Yeah, Mitt's a clown but leading in most polls. I guess that makes Americans idiots because there's a real chance we could vote a completely underqualified clown into office.
Oh, wait....
Green might have been 15, but if he makes it, he will cost us around 2m.
None of the players have made ANY impact, sure some of them look like decent players, but none of them will stop us having to sell Fellaini in 12months time.
If he doesnt spend the money on youth and instead on players around 30 I will be in the Moyes Out camp.
I just cant understand why the entire world wanted Obama.....he's a disaster and now the republicans cant find someone adequate to challenge him....???
It's a bit like Liverpool fans clamouring for Dalglish and now going for underqualified Rodgers....
Insanity....
You could but they wont solve the problem we have right now. 2 or 3 injuries and we are gonna struggle.
Zatara, I'm surprised at you to be honest. You can say a lot about Moyes, both pro and con, but the one thing that most agree on is that he's been very astute in the transfer market.
So you can bet that he's not going to spend money on any player, regardless of age, unless that player fits into Everton and can help us immediately.
The rest is just noise.
Sell Fellaini to replace Neville / Distin + soon Hibbert and Osman in the squad as Moyes has not replaced the older players instead hes signed Pienaar....
Come on though Vellios has made a decent impact and Garbutt and Green are potential england players whose fees are on appearances.
Its almost like your new to Everton.
Have you missed the last 10 Transfer windows or something?
Its late and im going to bed, but glancing down the list of Moyes signings, in the past 11 Years he has signed 50+ players, again, just glancing, around 5 of these were over 30.
Around 20 were under 20 and around 25 20-30.
As I pointed out in your other age obsessed thread, for every player on or around 30, there is a direct replacement under the age of 25.
If he makes it and costs 2mil, what's the problem here? Still be a bargain for a Premier League footballer
And as I pointed out in my reply mate, those replacements just mean our squad is a right back and a centre back down by next season....
