Rant time ...

Maybe this will get a few people to stop believing things from Twitter. Almost certainly it will not. Getting people to believe things on the internet which aren't true isn't new. "I never dreamt I'd get so many followers" he says. Well then he's an idiot. They're still running the Nigerian prince scheme for crying out loud! At this point it's a bit of a "fool me twice, shame on you" situation. That point was proven AGES ago ... hell twenty years ago on usenet people were doing similar stuff (to admittedly a far smaller and generally smarter audience).

I guess he's 18 so he thinks he's doing something new. He's not. He's one in a long line of trolls who "popcorn" people for their own amusement and try to act like they are doing some service in "educating" people not to be so gullible. Yes people are gullible, I don't deny that, but we don't need some idiot with a Twitter account to "prove" people are dumb. We know. We've known for a long time (see most of the people on this thread talking about how jarg Twitter is and telling people to stop posting anything from there because it's all crap). People like this, even with their "dramatic" reveals, are not part of the solution they are the problem. The fact he admitted it at the end doesn't really distinguish him from those who still try to keep up the facade. It's all just a bunch of noise ruining something which could be so much better without them.

If you have no morales and that much time to waste you could be making money on the internet. At least the scam artists have a goal and a purpose.

"Usenet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea. Massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement ..." — Gene Spafford, 1992 (talking about usenet but sounds a lot like Twitter too).

Qpr after granero?? Is it?? From real Madrid, there starting to do my head in!!

Know what you mean about QPR. Thing is they're signing players not wanted by their clubs, probably most of them either past their best or who have not lived up to potential. They haven't gone and made offers that were too good to refuse to obtain key players from elsewhere, which is why I think they'll continue to struggle and why Hughes is likely to be the first Prem manager to lose his job this season.

We might sign a second/third choice keeper. Craig Gordon on a free?

i would sign him as 1st choice. when he's fit he's better than howard IMO, maybe im just swayed by the 9 mill fee he had, always thought he was great though. one of quite a few decent scot keepers. we are definatily one of the weakest in that position in the league.

But we're not though. Timmy is a great keeper. I'd take Hart and Vorm ahead of him based strictly on consistancy, and that's probably it for prem keepers.

Tim Howard can be very inconsistent.

There's a load of PL goalkeepers who I would have ahead of him.

Such as? De Gea is scared and poor. Cech is more inconsistent than anyone. Krul isn't quick enough (although I still rate him). Friedel has lost a step. Given, did you watch him last week or in the Euros? Ruddy is Howard when he loses a step. Mingolet is badly average. Al Habsi is a bonehead. Schwarzer is a lame duck. I could go on, but I'll save some. Howard isn't flawless by any means, but his flaws are less than the others.

You would seriously have Tim Howard over Petr Cech, Pepe Reina, Sczezsney or Hart?

You clearly post without reading. I said 2 ago that I'd take Hart and Vorm ahead of him. All my Liverpool mates say they would take Howard over Reina. Schezney maybe. Cech, God no. He is poor now.

Just looked at your username and realised your from the States.

There tends to be a massive amount of 'tinted-glasses' amongst fans from the states when it comes to American players.

Did u not watch de gea against us? made some cracking saves. I am happy for him really, he is a great goalkeeper.

I would have him, hart, vorm and Sczeney over howard. Only based on inconsistency, if Howard could not make those silly mistakes he would really trouble those keepers.

Did you watch him against Fulham? Bad. He may turn out fantastic, but not yet. He gets timid.
