The stench of mediocrity.

@Adam-GOTTV
You know I’ve become a fan of your videos. But your purring of the quality of the players at City yesterday was so small time mate.

We have a mentality that has run through generations of evertonians to be in awe of the teams that come to goodison instead of trying to make it a bear pit. I remember in the 90s when UTD used to turn up after winning trophy after trophy and swatting teams out their way and the fear was on the players faces.

We are like a puppy now.

Fair enough, not apologising for complimenting City like but I'll take your point on board.

On a side note, do you blame me? I'm of that generation that has seen absolutely nothing. I don't remember 95 so Moyes is the best I have. So getting knocked about by the 'big' sides is normal. When we don't get smashed it's something to hold on to.

Anyway, today was far worse.

Absolutely not, you’ve seen nothing but disappointment— I salute you for being passionate enough to make this your career mate.

Absolutely not my career Bryan, which makes me even more of a moron for doing it for free (and most of the time paying to do so). Lol.

Nothing wrong with being passionate mate, it’s why we are all here. I know loads of us appreciate it and I’m made up it’s not turned into redmentv!!!!

I’ve watched Everton since the seventies and this is the worst, most prolonged period of mediocrity I’ve witnessed.
My children aren’t interested because there is never any enjoyment or excitement. All they experience is my black moods. I don’t take them because I don’t want them emotionally invested in this loosing mess.
To be honest, I’m fed up being hurt as well. I can’t ever see us winning anything ever again. We’ve blown our big chance.
Managed decline is where we are now.

My feelings exactly including my young lad who gets let down on a weekly basis.

Its depressing that I missed out on the 80's as I'll never see us lift anything in my life time in the PL.

I barely remember 95 (I was 4) so I've grown up supporting a basket case of a club that started off struggling to survive,
Constantly sold our best players and regularly bent over to recieve a shafting from the big clubs,
I've seen us gain a sense of respectibility under Moyes,
I've stuck with us through the crap that followed including fat Sam,
It pains me to say that it was a fairly easy decision not to renew my season ticket this year,
I still get angry watching is struggle but the feeling is heading towards a general apathy for the current side,
I very rarely enjoy watching us play and look forward to the games any more which is disturbing

Adam, you're a great Blue mate, keep on keeping on!!I feel it for lads like you of your ages, us fifty somethings have at least been able to see League Titles,FA Cups a triumph in Europe too and so much stuff to at least cheer us into our dotage,I would love us to do something, anything for our far to long downtrodden blues of a younger generation, but I can't see it changing any day soon unfortunately.
