The Rise of Moshiri’s Everton

Correct. You also have to take in the human angle; why would a better class of player want to come to Everton this time 2, 3 or 5 years ago? Klaassen has stated today that Koeman and Walsh are selling the project to these young men. and not just the first team, but in the young lads we've signed who knocked back some of the champagne clubs to come to Goodison. I'll also point out that for all the talk of a 'marquis signing' that Robhino basically did bugger all after his first season and was gone soon after.I'd rather the lads we've bought grew into the shirt over the course of a season. And I like the idea that we have 2 shots of CL this year, we should embrace it.

You cant say this mate. Your being totally out of order thinking for yourself and having the balls to say what all the fickle would say about Kenwright.

As the author of the original piece I would say I've got no inclination to shut down anything you or others being critical have said. I welcome your input, both for making of a lively debate we need as many differing viewpoints as possible, but also for myself I enjoy seeing posts that disagree with me far more as they challenge my thinking.

Please don't think I've got any desire to silence output, I will come back on some of your valid criticisms over the next couple of days mate!

Please.....come on, I get the optimism I really do but it's very cringeworthy.
Dont even know what you mean. Our fans are so dramatic tho. Look at some of these bingo replies. We should be real madrid, rome wasnt built in a day. Nobody suggests otherwise but if you dont agree they say stuff like oh get Martinez back then.
Its seriously pathetic. What does it mean? What do we learn from it?
We should be going the game to watch the best possible Everton. No other reason, but here we are again having sold something like 200 mill worth of players since Moshiri arrived and being told we should be positive. Playing reality champ manager with players i dont know much about does nothing for me i am afraid. I know some players want to leave too but lets not pretend we fight to keep them or dont use the policy to rebuild. Again.

Thank you mate. I think healthy debate is good for Evertonians
I only want to watch the BEST POSSIBLE EVERTON
Not rebuild every year. What are we suggesting to Davis?
Seriously tho mate thats a great reply and hopefully it creates open minds and stops people acting like my mum and her mates to prove a point.
Cheers again

Could be but I felt that was a little bit of a personal dig from you

You're welcome mate, your opinions are as welcome as any so try not to get too bogged down in critical comments.

We all want what's best for Everton and that shines through on all the comments from all angles that we've had.

This was always going to be a difficult summer mate. I think Lukaku was always going to go. Barkley is a really sad one and it's disappointing we hadn't sorted out a long time before. I think we are paying the penalty for previous mismanagement really. I do think we are moving in the right direction, maybe not fast enough not are we at a point we are all happy with currently but I sense things are getting better.

As for Davies what I'll say is Moshiris Everton will be judged on their ability to keep that lad. We need to start keeping star young players and moulding them into leaders and captains for EFC. I don't want another Barkley situation in 5 years that's for sure!
