I always read @catcherintherye stuff. It's well thought out and detailed.

I just think he's being a bit Pollyanna here....and, to be fair, the caveats he places in the text belies the overall upbeat tone.

I think that's a fair comment Dave. I certainly feel like I've gone out on a limb and am aware it's a very positive article. There are certainly some assumptions made that as yet can't be validated with hard evidence.

Sometimes we just have to go with our gut feeling and it feels positive to me, I'll certainly be looking for some hard facts too though and it's appreciated we have the counter narrative from yourself and others to add to an informed debate.

I could also be wrong. I am a bit of a utupian at heart and as you know was convinced Roberto would lead us to the top 4! Half way through his first season I thought he'd lead us to the league haha, so I'm as guilty as anyone of being overcome on a wave of positivity.

Anyway I appreciate your comments on my article, I don't have as much time in the days to respond to them as I used too, but keep fighting for what you believe mate!

I cant believe we are raving about Palace and Swanseas best players, Leicesters scout? My word this is unbelievable. Our fans just want to be quiet and see what happens. If Kenwright announced a ground based around the commonwealth games and another loan then spent the Lukaku money on Palaces best players there would be uproar.
So fickle our fanbase its unreal. Wait and see before we start with the hype. Klaasen who the majority of our fans have only ever seen poorly (europa final, and dont pretend loads follow Dutch football) is talked about like Robinho, Siggurdsson is decent but come on lets sack this hype before everyone looks silly.
The whole Moshiri script is based on celebrating Palaces best player and hearsay about Usmanov. Plus the fact your having a go about selling to buy or book balancing when that is clearly the case.
The loons across the park are livid with FSG for trying to win on Leicester tactics. Our loons love it.

Live in a Mr Motivators world? Not trying to motivate anything or anyone. I'm not estatic at this moment. Will have to wait and see how the new signings pan out. On the other hand, I'm really not fussed about the players who left. Only one who was genuine class was Lukaku, hope we'll be able to replace his goals

Good stuff mate, "seeing things as what they are". Because we're unable to do anything at any given time, so us getting someone sought after, in fact several of them, is impossible and they're not good enough.

Please find me one article or comment that says he has done nothing for the club.
No point whatsoever in over exaggerating or making things up to justify your own view on the situation.
Lets just be normal. He hasnt lit the world up but hasnt bled or let us become static.

You seem to know everything including the inner workings of the club , our transfer policy and budget and Moshiri's bank account details.
