i've literally never been this excited for a season. everything on and off the pitch is a lot better its not perfect but we are trying to get there. the manager the dof. the players. everything is improving each year. I'm a lot happier than I was when Kenwright was solely the one calling the shots, but we need to prove we mean business.

City have spent over £200m and are not finished, Chelsea the same. That is what we're up against.

Last summer, we basically used the John Stones money and didn't sign anyone until we sold him, which sent alarm bells ringing.

This summer we basically decided to sell Lukaku and knew we would have around £90 Million hitting the bank and we got on with using that money.


Since then we've signed probably the worst RB I've seen in the Premiership, and this will all be clear to us come October time.


We are also Selling Ross Barkley now so there's most of the money for Sigurdsson.


We are selling our stars that he said he never wanted to sell to fund squad development.

I have made the point if it improves the squad and starting 11 who cares? Concerns for me how about when we don't have someone to sell for £50-90 Million?


He's done a few things correct off the pitch with sponsorship deals such as USM.

Really do need to show some caution as the real possibility as shrewd accountant he's spotted a chance to buy shares for a reasonable value and then add serious value and get out of dodge as quick as possible. He also could be here for the long haul, we don't know yet.
