Last summer, we basically used the John Stones money and didn't sign anyone until we sold him, which sent alarm bells ringing.

This summer we basically decided to sell Lukaku and knew we would have around £90 Million hitting the bank and we got on with using that money.


Since then we've signed probably the worst RB I've seen in the Premiership, and this will all be clear to us come October time.


We are also Selling Ross Barkley now so there's most of the money for Sigurdsson.


We are selling our stars that he said he never wanted to sell to fund squad development.

I have made the point if it improves the squad and starting 11 who cares? Concerns for me how about when we don't have someone to sell for £50-90 Million?


He's done a few things correct off the pitch with sponsorship deals such as USM.

Really do need to show some caution as the real possibility as shrewd accountant he's spotted a chance to buy shares for a reasonable value and then add serious value and get out of dodge as quick as possible. He also could be here for the long haul, we don't know yet.

Some of our fans need to calm down we aren't "rich" we just have access to financial vehicles to fund different activities, something you would expect from any well run business.

That was great to read mate. Nothing hyped no exaggerations and calling it exactly as you see it. No doubt it is difficult to raise Everton but we wont do it while we are still a stepping stone and if we do make it big it will be temporary like Leicester. I wanted to practice Man Citys project more than Leicesters but neither should be set in stone.
We have to mix it obviously but dont let talent walk away.
Imagine these signings now amongst the talent we have lost. That would be some squad.

Europa league for me always seems to be a ready made excuse for clubs in the prem who have a really crap season whilst in it (hope we don't have lads who go down that route if we're having a crap season) the only good thing about the Europa league now is that if you win it you are guaranteed a champs league place.

If we'd just taken Man Utd's manager and the best players at Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Juventus then that would be 'unimaginable'.

Rooney is a player at the very end of his career.

When we can cherry pick United for their young home grown "Rooneys" rather than their cast offs you'll know we've arrived.
