The butcher of Gallipoli for starters. Does that take away from his role as PM during the 2nd World War, no. He should be honoured for that, doesn't mean his past should be whitewashed though.
People cherry picking good and bad deeds from a persons history is a dangerous game - Okay Gallipoli was a tragic episode in WW1, but maybe that event changed something in Churchills makeup that would eventually become a positive in his role in WW2 he was continually taunted in parliament about it for may years.
Or - if he'd been held accountable for Gallipoli and faded out of the public eye, we all might be speaking German now - and we certainly wouldn't be discussing the rights and wrongs of history on a public forum that's for sure.

Didn’t seem to teach him much when he get excited about bombing German cities and nearly cost the Allied Forces greatly

So anyone who disagrees with authoritarian mob violence is supporting racism?

And people wonder why the left in this country is finished lol
It’s not authoritarian mob violence though. Most statues are coming down through peaceful means of direct action.

The left isn’t finished. Quite clearly.

Most statues are coming down either by force or by social media declaration despite democratic votes previously voting in the majority for said statues to stay up.

The left got its ass handed to it by Kin Boris Johnson.

The working class majority think kin Nigel Farage is a man of the people.

The Left is over thanks to its lunatic fringe and abandonment of the working class in pursuit of the middle class talking heads vote.

Haha the best description of anarchist vandalism I've ever read.

"Peaceful means of direct action"

Classic.

Can see that becoming a viable legal defence.

"No your honour, I wasn't robbing the house, I was taking peaceful means of direct action against the new pair of trainers he had because Nike used child labour in sweatshops."

No it shouldn’t, but we should have a more nuanced and balanced discussion about Churchill imo

Serious question here mate, and I think it’ll help people try to understand the points you’re trying to make.

Where do you get your sources of information from?

Every election since 2010 and the Brexit vote?

Twitter is an echo chamber for the minority. That has been borne out over and over again. If it wasn't, Brexit gets crushed by 90% of the vote against and Corbyn is now PM with massive landslide victories.

I’m talking more this stuff about EDL and other such things this fella has come out with.

He might have a point about the left, but this discussion isn’t really about that.

Just interested where he gets his info from as im spotting a dangerous pattern in his tone and the stuff he’s coming out with.
