Current Affairs The Labour Party

This reads like something from a David Icke forum. Soon the 7 will have been brainwashed by the Moonlizards of Zeron 9.

No, the 7 are simply Blairites. The type of Labour that the likes of The Sun and The Daily Mail can stomach. No idea what David Icke has to do with the observation that this new party will be accepted as being mainstream whilst one of the biggest political parties in the western world will be described as on its last legs.

I always find this hilarious. Basically, anyone not a 'comrade' of Corbyn's and dares to be right of Lenin is a 'Blairite' and doomed to the same failure as he. There's no possible way they could be different.

It'd be like me saying Corbyn is definitely, absolutely going to be the exact same as Stalin.

Ludicrous stuff.

Joey, you are believing things you read in the Daily Mail. Stop doing it, as the paper is rubbish.

As usual with Joey, the devil is in the detail.

I think what he is trying to say in his first paragraph is that the investigative journalist - Tom Bowers, has exposed some nasty stuff about Corbyn ( according to the Mail )

Having read a couple of his books, all I can say is that he leaves no stone unturned and never gets sued.

So I think it is safe to say, that what is in that book is the truth, no matter how uneasy it sits with some people.

Plus Bowers has no " obvious " political " agenda - everyone is fair game to him.

@Joey66 thanks for flagging the book up, l will be ordering it ;)

o_O

But they are Blairites. They all believe in his policies, they all yearn for his return to politics. How is it ludicrous stuff to describe them as such when that´s how they would describe themselves?

There are plenty of other figures within Labour who are to the right of Corbyn but aren´t Blairites. This bunch however are. Open your eyes.

You keep saying 'far left', what policies, actions or events can you point to as 'far left', as in politics, not in your head and not as a comparative against an extreme right lurch. Your making out were on the cusp of Mao...

He’s talked about imposing maximum wage, the state taking a percentage of shares. McDonnell has stated he’s a Marxist (only to back track) and Corbyn once stated that he doesn’t want to reform capitalism but overthrow.

Away from his policies you have the Venezuelan support for Chavez, the antisemitisem which runs rife through the entire party since he and his clowns showed up, his support for terrorism and relevant organisations such as the IRA and Hamas

I think you'll find the labour party is returning to its purpose. Your rhetoric is as sensationalist as Kay Burley.

Thing is an extreme left wing socialist labour party is unelectable. What needed to happen was for Labour to keep the centre left inside the party and they would have a chance of govt at the next GE. Then when they're in no10 - have a purge, kick-out the centre leftists and go all Che Guevara!
