Well the constituency party apparently wanted to deselect Berger or at least vote on it , I would seem they were right in assuming their mp didn’t have any loyalty to the party and was if anything working against it . Perhaps rather than being an anti-Semitic decision it might have been they were spot on in their assessment .

With regards to Berger, yes. A lot of people had issues with her. But antisemitic tendencies were still relevant against her and throughout the party.

Moving further down there are still issues with long standing councillors being deselected. It runs deep

The CLP saw between two and four people submit two no confidence motions in her, that were withdrawn before they were ever voted on.

Momentum are deselecting candidates in areas, it’s happened in Merseyside. Coupled with that you then have those little face covered bellends in ANTIFA causing chaos and promoting violence against anyone who dare speak up against Grand Leader Corbyn

The party is a mess and has set the the opposition back years

What an strange conflation of issues. There haven't been any deselections of sitting MP's and internal Labour politics are not Antifa's organ or monkey.

6 long standing councillors were deselected in Luton

And the vote was taken to make it easier to deselect MPs
Theres been more Tory MP's deselected than Labour MP's over the past few years..

Also the potential (note not actually happening) furore over Labour MP's being deselected has gained more media coverage than Tory MP's actually (note actually) being deselected, Nick Boles currently and soon to be others like Soubry as Leave.EU have infiltrated local parties to vote them out

Whatever the merits of the seven, is there anyone here who thinks it’s ok for them to be funded by donations to a company (which aren’t disclosable) rather than a party (which are)?

No. I'm prepared to see how they play out though, but I certainly won't be happy if they're funded by special interest groups and remain opaque. I also wouldn't be surprised if they do.

I think kinnock would appear Tory compared to Corbyn and McDonnell........
I am glad I stopped voting Labour for the time being on LBC this guy I know hes from the Daily mail but being interviewed over his new book about Corbyn if a % of it is true then I am justified - but the 7 who stood down today not interested in them apart from the Wavertree MP and by the way no fuss was made when Frank Field who went independant who I respect -
Tom Bowers book an investigative journalist book - A Dangerous Hero -i.e. Jeremy Corbyn sounded horrific { the author has investigated, and wrote about many famous people}

No way will I vote for a non socialist party or a breakaway party as they are just Lib dems really - I feel sorry for Labour members in that link who are being used in a abhorrent way - - like many I and others have no party to vote for ATM....
I was a member of two unions even as retired employee always supported Unions - I left the UNITE, union and told them why 2 years ago it was over Corbyn ......
I kept my membership for life with my other Trade Union, and if thing change which the author of the book interviewed on LBC this am stated will not happen for a good while - he seem to state that Corbyn has always hid behind a smokescreen,{ This is a common practice in his whole polictical career} John Mcdonnell was pulling the strings.........

Joey, you are believing things you read in the Daily Mail. Stop doing it, as the paper is rubbish.
