Current Affairs The Labour Party

There's no difference now. Both are parties of austerity. If you want to kid yourself that one is marginally better then go right ahead.

The current 'Labour' Party needs to be smashed and replaced by a party that looks to provide the type of social democracy that the Labour Party have stood up for in the past.
Those Tory scumbags threw parties while people died.

Oh no, Starmer gets a few pairs of trabs and a free Arsenal ticket.

Forgive me for not giving 1.

Wait'll you see this budget in October...which will be heavily trailed at the Red Tory conference next week.

Right out of the Thatcher playbook.

Imagine voting for that...worse still though, imagine still defending that.

This Red Tory party have supported the Israelis murdering 40,000 people in Gaza, taken money off poor families and pensioners and mothballed NHS investment.

Tell me where the progress is here?

A very bad week for Starmer and Labour. One term and out no doubt. I honestly hoped that they would not have been this poor but at this rate the nation will be prepared to give your mob another go at the next election.

It’s the speed at which it’s happened that gets me….

Defining care is dependent on who the dependents are. I'd argue the UK doesn't want a party that cares at all seeing as the Tories are always voted in.

They maintained the WFA and were introducing a limit on paying for Care Homes, Sir Freebie put a stop to them both… but as he says, ‘having to give up his free access to a box at Arsenal is a bit much’…my heart bleeds for him…..

I wish I could disagree.

Unfortunately this mob have completely failed to impress so far and already have a whiff of the moribund, and that is my charitable assessment.
I can get where you're coming from, yet (and this coming from something who isn't a Labour supporter - votes Lib Dem) it's still early days in what's a marathon.

There's a lot of stuff being thrown around about cronyism, gaffs, austerity and whatnot, but let's not forget they have inherited a horrendous position.

Are they worse than the Conservatives? Not for me, at least not yet. I also think as a party, there's a lot of people in government who are relatively inexperienced.

I think there's a steep learning curve they are facing, but if they can ride the wave they will get some stability back.

I will happily eat my words if you are proved right.
