It's very disappointing that Labour seem to be carrying on like entitled Tories in accepting clothes and stuff from rich donors and benefactors. It reminds me of Harold Wilson and his Gannex raincoats.
At least we got the Open University from Harold.
Of course, if we lifted the stone of politics we'd find they are all at it to some degree but I was naively hoping this lot would try a bit harder to be different.

Yes, that's very reassuring that Red Tory have learned their lesson on being sleazy: using £104,000 each year from public coffers to get a liar in for them to cover their tracks.

The rise of reform and Farage may temporarily assist Labour but it’s a disaster for the future of the country.

The problem with the all the donations for me is that it kind of leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Corbyn had almost £200,000 JCB defensive limited, no doubt wanting defensive force contract once he scrapped Trident... Johnson was £6.4 million extra earnings as PM. And current opposition leader Sunak took £65800 while being the richest PM to hold office.

However It's not something I'm particularity bothered with. I see it as perks of their job. Although the way Starmer has gone on about cleaning up politics it's just came across as rather hypocritical. I've always seen him as someone who genuinely believes in doing the right thing, but this has just dented my confidence in that assessment.

Not a deal breaker in any way for me right now but it's was a fumble given the context.

Still waiting on next months budget before I start ranting and raving like the pious loon. Any changes to mental health provisions to save monies and my work pension until then I'll relax. If not, your all forewarned.

Isn't cleaning up corruption part of why the Starmer Gang were elected? They vented over it for 4 years and won people's trust on their promise to see that culture off.

But they inherited an utter crapshow.

There's no difference now. Both are parties of austerity. If you want to kid yourself that one is marginally better then go right ahead.

The current 'Labour' Party needs to be smashed and replaced by a party that looks to provide the type of social democracy that the Labour Party have stood up for in the past.
