Excellent news for Labour.
Didn't know Tom Dick worked at McDonald's.

So you admit it, finally! Some sense out if you last. But isn’t this what you and the echo chamber are doing in trying to defend Starmer. Meanwhile his ratings are second only to Truss. Boris never once pretended to be holier than thou, but your man did and still does, yet everyone can now see through his duplicitous, sanctimonious claptrap. Now Reeves and Rayner are having to admit doing similar, the hypocrisy stinks, but you will continue to defend them while trying to invoke comparison with Boris who everyone knew what he was like before they voted for him. Starmer is a busted flush who now says he won’t accept clothes or glasses, while completely forgetting about his other freebies. But if you want to compare him with Boris, Boris didn’t stuff 10,000,000 pensioners based on a lie of filling a black hole, £9Billion of which Starmer created with his above inflation pay rises to his mates. Even now that the BoE have sorted out an additional £10Billion for him, he and Reeves are determined to create chaos for some of the poorest people in the country. If you are happy justifying it then I pity you…..
Defining care is dependent on who the dependents are. I'd argue the UK doesn't want a party that cares at all seeing as the Tories are always voted in.But it does want a Labour Party that at least cares……
Labour will recover it's not even against any rules. Does not even come close to Nolan pricples that Tories tore up and laughed at. It's just old Tories annoyed their 19th hole beer money called WFA has been taken off them.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ntroversies-timeline-why-resign-b2260174.html
Although this is a Labour thread, just a little reminder for our resident Tory’s as some of us don’t have selective amnesia.
You can’t turn a blind eye to all of this then apply double standards to the next government.

Obviously you have forgotten, 'they're all the same' and 'they're all as bad as one another'.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ntroversies-timeline-why-resign-b2260174.html

I’m looking at what he’s already done to the country, and it’s neither a pretty sight nor economically sound. As @davek keeps saying this isn’t Labour…..
Yes, that's very reassuring that Red Tory have learned their lesson on being sleazy: using £104,000 each year from public coffers to get a liar in for them to cover their tracks. You have fallen for the rabid right wing political media spin. Having your enemy enemies as ally will not end well for your politic, although increasingly i doubt the sincerity.
Be end of the political silly season once Labour conference is under way and looks like Starmer is learning with this incoming appointment, should have been in place for some time.

Labour seeks comms and policy chief
The Labour Party has merged its comms and policy functions previously led by two senior figures now working at Downing Street, and is now recruiting to fill the resulting senior vacancy, PRWeek UK has learned.www.prweek.com
If you had any dignity you'd back out of the thread too seeing as you voted for a man who impersonates a cat in his spare time. These people on this thread will back their own humungously shameful decision to back the Red Tories, even if it means supporting putting low income families and pensioners into poverty.
That's the corner they've painted themselves into.
By the way, @Goat was one of their biggest supporters during the election and is nowhere to be seen on this thread now. I like to think that's because he's recoiled away from Red Tory in horror.
I vote for a party not a leader. If you had any dignity you'd back out of the thread too seeing as you voted for a man who impersonates a cat in his spare time.
And therefore you'll be criticizing the Labour party and not the leader right?I vote for a party not a leader.
That doesn't naturally follow. And therefore you'll be criticizing the Labour party and not the leader right?
