He now has 4& 1/2 years with a super majority, though - & anyone who votes against him is suspended for 6 months in his party - he is not a socialist - my dad was a toolmaker etc i worked for the PP as a top barrister - a conman already IMO -

I have no idea why he does the toolmaker routine. Even if it was ever relevant (nope) or true (nope, he owned the factory) it doesn't cut through the 500th time you hear it.

And his tails of poverty? Growing up in a mortgaged semi with a landline phone and a family sized car outside was decent in the 70s. My Nan & Grandad still had an outside toilet and a coal burner until 1980. 😄

They were not 'guilty by law'. You are ignorant and out of your depth. The Court of Appeal in R v Gore (2009) were clear that an FPN is not a finding of guilt and payment not an admission: "Payment of the penalty involves no admission of guilt on the part of the person to whom it is given, nor does it create a criminal record. These are important limitations." https://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/form.../Crim/2009/1424.html&query=(Gore)+AND+(maher)

Sunak was not at a party. He walked into a workplace gathering of workmates on a lunchbreak.

Wine was delivered to Parliament? Well yeah, MPs are grasping hypocrites, irrelevant to my point that the FPNs were absurd.

Try learning the facts.

Where was Bazza's FPN? https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/labour-say-barry-gardiner-wrong-22137133

Where was Tahir's? https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/police-issue-warning-mp-tahir-18038507

Corbyn's? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...coronavirus-labour-boris-johnson-b735766.html

There are plenty more.
Splitting hairs mate they were guilty & fined & most probably voted out because of it .....

@davi

@davek you were spot on about Starmer - Listening to LBC -Carol Vordaman just now loads of bedridden pensioners telephoning in will never vote Labour again - Age concern estimate 2 million do not claim pension credit as they are too proud to go cap in hand for most benefits including pension credit - one caller stated they are the nasty party -

Corol Vordaman stated she was shocked - how about bankers bonuses the millionaires etc-

She stated rich pensioners over £49, 000 do not need the winter fuel allowance, that's who should have lost the fuel allowance - there are some millionaire pensioners etc -

& the scrapping of projects - that would have given employment ? Where is the growth coming from ? even the pot holes in our roads not being sorted....

Starmer quote no austerity from us - Billy Liar !

The Chancellor today -It's only the beginning - bye bye in 4 years ....
TBF, you'd have to have been Stevie Wonder not to see what this 'Labour' Government would be all about. In fact, they told everyone what they wouldn't do when they were campaigning, but some mugs thought it was a just words - a Trojan Horse - to get through the doors of No.10.

I've said for the past few months: this Starmer Gang will be utterly hated by the whole population inside 12 months. They;re bang on course to make it less than a year, tbh.

Doing a great job so far IMO.

Can not wait to vote for them again in 4 years.

You replaced a Tory with a Tory. Just hold your hands up and own it.

Your attempt at 'humour' cant mask your embarrassment.

You voted S*n Keir Starmer. For 5 years you and others have to live with that shame.

...and dont say I didn't warn you.

Why shouldn’t people in hospital pay for their bed, food, operation etc etc. People don’t go into care homes for a holiday or a bit of fun, they require medical support and nursing attention, something for which they have paid for their whole lives in taxes. I think it’s an absolute disgrace that these people are effectively abandoned by the NHS. The care cap would have at least limited the financial burden to £86,000 for adults of all ages. Labour and supporters of this should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves……
They go in to die according to your hero Boris.

You are a disgrace for deliberately missing the point, or not being able to understand it.

The FPNs were absurd, and misapplied the law. That remains unchanged. They actually meant that it needed to be essential for people to go into work. Not that every single gathering of people in a workplace had to be essential, which was how it was applied.

Deathbed visits were allowed by law, by the way. Some individual hospitals decided otherwise.

If you are gonna have a pop, at least know what you are on about.

Are you Donald Trump mate ?

No shame here, if an election was held tomorrow, I would vote Labour.

In 4 years, I will vote Labour.

There is nothing that will prevent me voting against The Tories, ever.
