All this accusations of Genocide by Israel is ridiculous.. Some Israeli politicians have voiced genocidal ideation the reality is in probability it's ethnic cleansing. Don't think it helps to over dramatise matters. Because if there is a case to answer on Genocide it's not going tried in a factual manner but rather hysterical historonics from allotments.
I'd just like to point out that the views expressed by Azhar Ali are shared by various left wing allotment dwelling members who are very active on the Israel/Palestine/Labour threads here.
Been posts agreeing with Ali's comments much earlier on these threads which have been widely liked.
If Ali's expelled from Labour, he'd find a warm welcome here and would be accruing 'likes' faster than George Galloway can launch into a cat impression.
Green types who are actually secret Tories too numerous and boring to name. As I care not!
UK recognises the right of British citizens with "additional nationalities to serve in the legitimately recognised armed forces of the country of their other nationalities".
Does that make Pete Robin? Is it a bird?
Is it a Plane?
No, it's Dailymail man.
Does that make Pete Robin?

Seems like such an unnecessary position they find themselves in here.It is a serious issue in the Muslim community.
We have a fairly substantial Muslim community in the new ward I live in and they would previously in the past vote Labour.
Don't think that will be the case at the minute.

It does seem completely nuts that adults in political leadership roles are seemingly being pushed into a position that sees them turn a cheek to mass murder. Worse still, for me, that it involves children and women. It is a serious issue in the Muslim community.

I still think they’ll be elected but very possibly in a coalition where their weak handling of this will continue to cause problems.Think a fair few will abstain from voting.

As Jimmy says, I do not think any of the voting population would have held anything against Starmer and the party (or any party) for backing a ceasefire and demanding that it stops.
I believe that there will be an element or the tories culture war in Labours strategist thinking in that Sunak would have used this with Corbyn smears to say same old same old but I am sure they could have found a position of moral authority.
It could well be that the Labour team are focused upon a GE win at all costs but for me, that shouldn't include kids being blown up. But also, it will no doubt be that certain lobbies are threatening/promising from the shadows. That Byline project in the UK press thread looks a welcome initiative. Hopefully it can shine a light on a much bigger problem than is currently visible.
Aye, maybe the current atrocities will help with a wider conversation at some point. It is scandalous the lack of transparency that exists in politics. The revelations in the US from Nasser Beydoun and Hill Harper should have had alarm bells ringing all over the west but has been brushed under the carpet. You have to wonder about the Epstein saga too.Without wishing to argue for arguments sake the problem is not that this lobbying happens in the shadows; we’ve had multiple films and articles from multiple sides (including the Israelis) saying how massive it is for years.
The problem is that no one, aside from Corbyn, has ever made a serious attempt to go against it.

They're terrified of losing financial backing that goes to the party through Friends of Israel and such.so JLM now want every councillor who attended the meeting in Rochdale to be suspended from the party.
can someone explain to me how saying "f**king Israel" and that people should be prosecuted for fighting with the IDF is antisemitic?
was there other stuff said at this meeting that I've missed?
