The problem is that the opinion of the average UK voter is irrelevant.
It looks like there is a specific problem with those activists at that meeting, I don't think that it's widespread as it was with Corbyn, certainly a manic desire for it to be by those opposed to Labour. Its just not the true face of Labour and it will not be tolerated anymore.

Big fan of being seemingly unconcerned about it being 'only' ethnic cleansing. Amazing.

In a debate with two Tory’s on Facebook who have started a post about antisemitism in the Labour Party.

I have asked them a direct question, did they have an issue with Islamophobia in the Tory party. They are accusing me of “whataboutery”.

I was just about to post this answer - is it too strong? I seek GOT approval

I’ll tell you what’s “whataboutery”
Voting for a party guilty of Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia and whipping up xenophobia, then pretending to care about antisemitism as a way of attacking the party you oppose.
It’s not fooling anybody, it’s a poor attempt at political point scoring and beyond contempt.

There's a danger here that any unguarded or ill-thought out comment, particularly if taken out of context, could wreck the careers of anyone aspiring to a future in politics. Pretty much every public meeting is recorded these days and what could have been passed off or denied in the past is now on record forever.
Being at a work meeting and thinking it OK to say 'f***ing Israel' seems highly unprofessional.

As you say, with technology capturing all kinds of moments there is no room for such things
