I came back from visiting my mum this afternoon through a part of Rochdale that is predominently Asian or Asian heritage. If that’s anything to go by Galloway must be in with a real chance now that Labour are out. I’ve never seen as many posters for one candidate without seeing any for other candidates. There was one street were I counted 12 posters on poles outside houses. All for Galloway. Almost every other house. It’s obvious who the Asian voters are voting for now the Labour candidate has gone. I suppose they must make up a third of the electorate. The other two thirds will be split between a myriad of candidates or not even voting.
