The Inevitable Return Of Wayne Rooney

You lived through the fact that he left the club. It was the club who rejected a £20m bid from Newcastle and prolonged the situation, it's not Rooney's fault that he was transferred so close to the deadline.

Of course it was! He banged a transfer request in on the final day and than Man United acted.

He was never going to Newcastle. They didnt offer enough and he obviously didnt want to go there.

There's a difference between having an opinion about a situation or event and then spouting off about how a player thinks and feels about a situation when you patently have no idea about it at all. You're calling Rooney a snide and all this other stuff, but based on what ? Because he went to another club ? I suppose Arteta's a snide too.

People calling an 18 year old lad who was distracted by the bright lights of European football and winning titles a 'snide' or any other derogatory term is totally out of order. He's as much a blue as the majority of people on this forum, his playing career is just that, a career.

He could have stayed, and then we'd almost certainly be in a much worse position than we are now because we'd have one star player surrounded by utter gash. His sale was what paved the way for the regeneration of our squad, without it we would almost certainly be a lot closer to relegation every season.

His conduct throughout until the last year or two toward the club that brought him into the game has stunk. We all know EFC paint any player that leaves as the bad guy but the sitch was handled terribly and his behaviour afterwards was a disgrace.

Any evertonian calling him a snide is well within their rights and at this point he's done next to nothing to make it right. If he does in 3 years( I can't see it because a lot can happen in 3 years) then minds may change, but not before.

How do u know what anyone else knows on here! It's alright for others to have an opinion on here without having to trade on itk info or not, I'll be honest mate I couldn't care less what u think Tbh your some bloke on the Internet. But if u post something as abusive as that again to anyone on here your gone, we worked hard creating a good atmosphere on here and that drivel doesn't help!

Truth hurts Neiler - You're pathetic....

TBH - thats pretty much not what happened at all.

If you know your history ...............

Rooney came through our youth system and is a self proclaimed blue, he then **** all over us. which is fine as what football player in their right mind doesn't want to play for the team they support ffs. I can forgive him that though as he wanted to win trophies and we didn't look like being able to offer them, so he's a good ol' blue again. Lescott though christ we bought him off someone else and then sold him for a massive profit, the tit how dare he ffs. The mind boggles.

Yes Lescott is a huge fcukin tit. The way he left and his attitude were an utter disgrace, I personally hate him.

Rooney however I would welcome back with open arms, I was upset when he left but he was right to do so for the reasons others have stated.
