er - the correct word there in the British context at least is programme; someone using program instead would usually indicate the person making the statement wasn't taught British English (since program is how American English uses the word).

As for the rest - my point was that you said you believe Labour are going to do extreme things, things that put the economy at risk. These were certainties, and something that you couldn't bring yourself to say about the Tories even though almost everyone accepts that Brexit is going to do exactly that. You then said you'd have to wait before seeing the manifesto, which would tend to suggest that your earlier certainty wasn't based on much.

I wrote that the Tories would cause the economy problems with Brexit thus the two extremes (else one would be better than the other) based on what I believe (not the media) on all the information I have to hand - which is not a tiny amount of data to not be able to draw any conclusions yet. However that can change with new information. I'd assume it is sensible to keep an open mind on these things? People who pick a side from the start and stick with despite the evidence not fitting in with their own beliefs are no use to anyone.

Believe it or not you are not the almighty judge when it comes to political views and your opinion is just that, opinion, and could be just as wrong as all the rest of us that you disagree with.

I am actually more for a Corbyn based government than I am for Johnson led one, but that doesn't mean I can't have any legitimate concerns about Labour policy though.

... and yet here you are claiming he / Labour are extremist?

It'd benefit Labour to tone down the ideology in this campaign. There are loads of people who will hold their noses and vote for Labour to stop Brexit if they didn't foresee Corbyn being just as dangerous to the country.

They obviously won't do that because of Momentum and the literal need to play to their base, but they really should look at broadening an appeal to come across as sensible when compared to Johnson and the increasingly rabidly right wing Tories. But at least the Tories have the sense of still at least pretending to be 'One Nation', even though the term has absolutely no meaning at this point.

I think the Tories have more or less abandoned the "One Nation" wing. A lot of Tory moderates have given up and aren't standing again, while some have been expelled. One or to are even going to stand as independents.

I've said before that I don't see any chance of the Conservatives getting a majority. In fact i think they'll do well to keep the number they won in 2017.

One financial extreme to another.
Even you being fully on his side must realise there is somewhat of a risk with funding huge amounts and say policies like the 10% share option, even though you ultimately believe these will work and the country will be better off for it? From my point of view I think it is a larger risk and then we come back to a similar standpoint that the last thing we want is a Tory government for the next 10/15/20 years. I believe that these policies will make it a) harder for Labour to win an election and b) if they do win it could be with a shaky alliance and if that fails badly or the amount of funding does not produce the expected results by the next election then the Tories will play the deficit card and Labour will be out of power for a generation.

Just watching the BBC news and looked after children, if it's appropriate to use that term, good god what do they think being going for the lasf 10 years, cut taxes in the name austerity, what on earth do they think is going to happen.

I am not fully on his side, and I don't think the 10% share option is a good idea (at least as it has been advertised).
