The media play a huge and biased part in this.

Absolutely, no argument with that. Fortunately, the younger part of the electorate are less likely to be influenced by the mainstream media, mainly because they consume it less.

There's nothing wrong with hammering that home.

Up to a point, but it can become defeatist, and an excuse to hide behind. If you become obsessed with it, and, to be blunt, many on the left of the party are obsessed with it, it then becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

As a general rule, people want to get behind a positive message. Continually pushing a negative narrative ( about the media ), will just be a "switch off" moment for many.

Yep. This may even be the main reason why Boris is polling so well.

them also, but even his enemies call him Boris. like how Thatcher became Maggie. e.g. Roger Waters was hugely critical of her but still referred to her as Maggie.

it's not affectionate, just colloquial.

Perhaps if Hitler had been called Adolph instead, he might have got a better press.

Whoever is chosen, if they're from the left they'll be presented to the world by the media as a dangerous anti-semitic anarchist. They just wont allow the left to be seen as credible. If you think its Corbyn's fault and it just needs better presentation, you're wrong.

...absolutely, the Party needs to be smart and select somebody who doesn’t attract those labels. It’s not going to happen, though, when the membership are the sole selectors of the leader. It’ll be an ex-trade union official who speaks like a shop steward.

sadly, becoming electable is partly game and Labour need to learn how to play it.

why does Corbyn not attack Johnson re his avoidance to face that tough interviewer (forgot his name) even though he promised to do so and other leaders already done that? Is this act of cowardice covered enough in the media?

"They concluded that the deaths are entirely and solely caused by the length of wait and not by the patient’s condition."

Not to query the substance of the article but that's a terrible sentence. No death certificate ever had "Length of wait" written on it. These people aren't dying of boredom. They're expiring because the patients conditions were left untreated for an extended period.

He was Foreign Secretary, not PM. Austerity combined with the compulsory 350m-per-week EU membership fees prevented serious NHS-investment in those previous years.

Now Boris is PM and he has other ideas: exit EU and end austerity. Sounds quite ok, to be fair. He's bound to win a Lion's share of the vote.

The argument against that will have to be a lot more convincing than it currently is, if the GE is to result in a Labour government.

Maybe a good place to start would be to remember that pretty much every serious economist accepts that the UK gets back far more than £350 million per week by virtue of our membership of the EU, and indeed that leaving it, especially with the deals proposed by the Tories, will make the country, and the government, significantly poorer and therefore less able to invest in whatever it wants.
