Or you could argue that it has brought into the limelight the fact that these rallies actually happen, and are happening partly due to a recent presidential change. It's also highlighted the presidents ineptitude in dealing with or acknowledging the problem.

Also, I think it's important for the world to see the absolute defiance the majority of people are prepared to show towards such hateful ideology.

I was at the Boston march this morning and it was 99% peaceful. The isolated violence sucks but considering the sample size it's pretty minor stuff. What matter is 40,000 people came out to stand in solidarity rejecting white supremancy and hate. Boston has a lousey history with race relations and they still aren't that great but at least after last weekend everyone is standing up to this. Happy to answer any questions, did the full march to common and rallied there about another hour.

The turnout was mind blowing. That crowd is the just the counter-protesters for the rally, which was like 100 people. The march adding another 15,000 and sounds like the rest got it up to 40,000. Fenway Park, which is where the Red Sox play, only holds like 33,000 just for some context.

He definitely should be in hiding. That Daily Stormer article was so incredibly awful--and I feel I've built up a tolerance to this sort of disgustingness--that Jason Kessler is seriously risking his life by retweeting/supporting it.

What's more disgusting is all these other hate-mongers, BakedAlaska, Richard Spencer, etc., decrying Kessler's tweet, after playing a major role in supporting this march.

My only slight query, I have no idea why the cops decided to take the speakers out of the area, along Boylston, in a convoy of wagons, sirens blazing, surrounded by riot police, at the height of the counter protest? Could they not have kept them in the holding area at the bottom of the common for an hour or two till the crowd thinned out a bit?
