Not absolutely correct, he hasn't invested any money beyond his initial takeover of shares from Johnson. Slightly changes the indignation went you're in possession of the right information and context He wasn't given Everton as a freeby.

The assertion is still absolutely correct. Kenwright, nor any of the board, have invested money in Everton. Kenwright's money went to Johnson, not the club. The only gain the club made was at the initial share release. However, the board are now asking for £75-100million from an initial outlay of £18million. They are making money out of the club but are not prepared to invest their own cash in it.

we've not had one of these tedious, cyclical threads for a few days.

Is there any new information to precipitate this one. If not, maybe we can reread one of the old threads where we all stated our position explicitly for the umpteenth time - and instead do something more productive.*

*I'm off to put the tea on.

It,s atttuides like your that have helped to build the wall that has held back this club under this board.

Spineless opinion based on a status quo that represents everything as small time.

It's a simple concept, but seems beyond some of the people on here. Then you get the ones who accept it but justify the board as businessmen, hanging onto the club for years without progressing it, looking to profit masively from it's sale.

So, your realistic solution is?........

what a load of bollocks! if its that easy why not buy the club yourselves, spend all your money instead!

lets face it, football clubs dont make money, not anymore!

personally im glad we have someone in charge who loves the club, would you give everything you have to make everton great again? so many people on here think its easy, well it is, all of you remortgage your homes and give the money to the club without asking for anyhting in return.

no, didnt think so.

portsmouth, leeds, southampton, charlton et all are names in recent memory

only billionaires by football clubs now and as toys.

were not a toy, were everton and im proud of it!

rant over!

buying the club and not investing any money is one thing.
but to do that and make poor financial decisions is unforgivable.

the club is stagnant in so many ways (the stadium , revenue and lack of investment in the team being the main 3), bill and the board of baffoons have led us down dead ends . they really are utterly useless custodians of our club as far as im concerned.

This.

and you would do better how?

im assuming youve become a millionaire through your business acumen so have plenty of spare change to invest?

if you could do better why havent you?

No, I'm not a millionaire. I cant see your point here. Are you suggesting that to be able to criticise individuals at the club you have to be in a position to do better than them? So, for example, if I thought a centre forward was rubbish I'd have to be a first team class striker myself to make that point stick?

well if i owned my own business as a result of my own business ability and financial standing I would struggle to comprehend how someone who hasn’t got that same acumen and ability could critique my running of said business, i guess the same goes for the running of a football club, so yes, that’s the point im making. Those who can, do, those who can’t moan about those who can!

Fair enough mate.

Ha ha i can see about four Kenwrong threads started today and very few replies to this post probably the most significant in terms of information on the board. Says it all really.

Wow, i think the most significant thing is this article is the growing trend in PL that have debts above their turnover. Things look praticularly bad at Villa and Bolton.
