As a thought experiment, what would you want to happen if the UK birth rate doubled. Would you advocate some form of sterilisation on account of the country being full or would you regard such a suggestion as barbaric?

What has that got to do with it? Again that is not comparable to immigration. The same way you can't compare temporary refuge to permanent refuge.

The birthrate is not too far being halved in the last 60 years in this country. So the idea of it doubling isn't as impactful as you make it sound. Actually declining now as well.

So no, the same way when it was almost doubled 60 years ago to what it is today, that didn't warrant a mass sterilisation then.

A ridiculous thought experiment when this country has had evidence of that level of birth rates. Much less houses built then as well and we didn't collapse.

The comment you replied to is pure nonsense. It's speculative, conflates issues, is based on nothing but opinion and thinks Syrians want to stay here permanently because of war, but Ukraine's just need a short break while the wars going on.

A sensible thought, let alone an experiment, is probably too much to expect.

Don't know about where you are but in East Surrey /North Kent there's no petrol (just diesel) in fillibg stations and the range of fresh fruit, tomatoes, veg, herbs in shops is limited and pricey.

I really don't think anyone is to blame but the gonads who are in power.

Conservatives and Brexit is a disaater, which benefits only their xhums.

I'm more than happy to chat to someone that I feel has a weight to their argument,however, I find it simply impossible to take seriously someone who:

Moaned about having a hole in their shoe so they had to get the bus to work

Used to eat gummy sweet pizzas as a substitute for normal pizzas when trying to lose weight

Failed to fix a toilet seat

Cut their hand when opening a tin

Said Hitler was misunderstood

Said they do not understand why there is a pride month and that gays shouldn't 'flaunt it'

Intelligence isn't something that comes over night. It's becoming common place for people to overestimate their intelligence, due to watching a few videos instead of studying something for years and you, sadly, have all the hallmarks for that.

Of course, if any of the above is incorrect I sincerely apologise.

I don’t need friends and allies, you may think of this place as some sort of groupthink arena where you try to smarmy your way into ‘friends and allies’. Personally I prefer those that just speak their own mind and pay no heed to the crowd. You should try it, it may liberate your mind…..

That’s an extremely interesting point. I suppose that obviously the population wouldn’t double tomorrow so would take some time and allow suitable preparations to be made…or we could just wipe out the cities and leave the good folk alone……
