Another load of gormless clatter from this absentee government, and Sky while we're at it.
GDPR has virtually nothing to do with cookies, these rules are under the 2003 Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. PECR was strengthened, a little, by the more explicit consent provisions in GDPR but cookie notifications have been law for almost 20 years.
But heaven forbid minsters and journalists do a little learnin' to know what they're talking about.
Won't make any difference, websites won't bother removing cookie notifications for the UK market vs. the rest of the bloody world, even California has equivalent rules.
Its just tories being tory - make a lot of noise about doing something - actually do nothing, they're not interested in government. They're not even a political party any more, they're just a perpetual campaigning machine.
For the record, cookie notifications get on my tits. But we're stuck with them.
Would not trust them with anything, It's amazing how this gormless lot mess up but always financially gain be it themselves or those close to them.

I see Pritler has got Noz in her sights now:

As a former (?) tobacco lobbyist Pritler is responsible for waaaaaay more death and ill health than nitrous ever has been or will be.

I expect it's the "laughing" bit that irks her most.

Can get some of her smirking at the poor gas if you fancy, though

At war my arse... They can't wait to stick it to the lower incomes. They will get their money be it through wage or bank of mum and dad hard earned assets.

All designed to give their billionaire and multi million donor's well alone in their tax havens

Unfortunately, not a parody, from the Express. What a country.

So the Tory twits have decided that workers are going to get hit with a rise in National Insurance to pay for the care of the generation that already has all of the wealth. What a bunch of f—ing CUNextTuesdays they are. There are other ways to raise the required funds without penalising those who work hard.

Can't disagree with this at all.

An extremely regressive move that people will remember electorally, and it's a massive boost to Labour as the 'Red Wall' seats will be seething about this.
